The Kenmore Elite 7.0 cu. ft. Electric Super Capacity Plus Dryer is one of the best purchases along with the matching washing machine. We haven't had one minute of trouble with it.
This dryer has several settings that are easy to use....
We have a similar Kenmore dryer which is Model #110.96291800. We purchased this in 1993 to replace another dryer that had stopped working. The price of our Kenmore Advantage electric dryer was $439.99 with a delivery fee of $25.00. We had purchased a...
Pros: super capacity/ and the moisture guard feature Cons: none
When we purchased our home 4 years ago, with it came a set of "hand-me-down" washer and dryer. They were o.k., and after doing laundry at the laundromat for years, I thought they were quite a treat. Well, then I had a baby. And for any of you...
Before making a large purchase we always check to see what Consumer Reports has to say. Consumer Reports reviewed many brands and styles and recommended the Kenmore 90 Series Super Large Capacity dryer. I agree. I recommend the Kenmore dryer for the...
Pros: Big size, stainless steel drum, multiple settings, Cons: None found so far
This dryer goes hand in hand with my Kenmore Front Loading Washing machine. Between the two I have cut my laundry time in half. And with a new baby on the way and three other children to look after time is an important commodity. I tend to have large...
Pros: large capacity, thorough drying Cons: lint screen sometimes catches on the chute
As I mentioned in my Kenmore washing machine review, we polled friends and family about what washer/dryer set to purchase. We heard a Kenmore dryer was 10 years old in my sister-in-laws house and had never required a single repair. So, my wife and I...
Pros: Sturdy Product that withstands Large Loads Cons: A little Pricey
Straight to the Point, I am the Queen of the Oversized Laundry Load. I hate doing laundry, so I cram as much as I can into each load so that there are less loads to do. When my husband and I moved into our new home it came with an old dryer that worked...
Pros: Large capacity, volume control for buzzer Cons: Don't like the lint filter much
We bought this dryer last November after our old one died. We looked at a LOT of dryers before we picked this one. It seemed to be the best value. It doesn't have a lot of gimmicks, but totally meets our family's need.
Pros: Dries Evenly Cons: Can Overdry, Auto Dry Presents Problems
We bought this dryer for several reasons. The matching washer had great reviews in Consumer Reports, the price, so many people we knew had it, and because Sears was running a special with 6 months interest free if charged on a Sears card. We have been...
Kenmore products, while often not the cheapest products on the market, are often the most reliable products on the market. The Kenmore dryer I bought for my family has provided hours of service free performance for me. I get so mad when I buy a product...
When purchasing a new dryer/washer in 2000, we did a significant amount of research on brands and performance. At that time Kenmore was suggested. Here we are not quite three years later and the motor on the dryer is starting to go. I called Sears...
Pros: Large Capacity, Easy to use. Cons: Not the most efficient in class.
This dryer is tops.I've had mine for a year now at it hasn't had any problems at all. It has handled all types of clothes at is large enough to handle most comforters. Even as large as it is I find myself overloading it sometimes at just keeps on...
Pros: Drying sensor - drying rack Cons: one week wait to get it from Sears
We purchased our dryer about a year ago after our old one died. We were lucky to make such a great choice since we did not do much research before our purchase. We were desperate so we just went and bought one that was in our price range and had the...
I brought this product because Kenmore was the same brand of my previous dryer which I had for 17 years. I've used GE appliances in the past and have never had good luck with them.
I love this dryer because of its gentleness on clothes, its...
DO NOT BUY KENMORE 90 SERIES DRYER by liz46 ,Aug 17 '09
Pros: Price Cons: Unreliable for coping with heavy continuous loads
When we purchased our house in 1982, there was an existing Whirlpool washer and dryer. This took all of the laundry for a family of 5. We had one motor replacement on the dryer and finally had to replace both washer and dryer in 2006 - 24 years of use!! We purchased a Kenmore 90 Series 90 dryer. This then had fairly heavy usage, doing all the laundry for 6 people, including three young children. Usage was just about every day. The motor has now failed on the dryer - after 3 years. Additionally the enamel on the top of the dryer has started to rust where it has got little knicks - a very thin coating on the top. I would NEVER purchase another Kenmore Laundry product.
