Elite Duo: Free thy mouse! (and KB)

by theuerkorn theuerkorn is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Computer Hardware, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Mar 29 '03
Pros: WIRELESS, hires optical mouse, attractive, low profile, quiet keyboard
Cons: tactile feeback of keyboard, only in Black, Mouse buttons, (batteries)
Having a hard time to see mice tied up at their tail and being pushed around? What about keyboards and their right to freedom? Shouldn't they all be able to roam freely on your desk, couch or whatever place they please? On a more technical ...

Logitech, We were meant to be together, all 3 of us!

by mtomm , Jun 03 '04
Pros: 9 months of use: no battery change, NO CORDS
Cons: Can't think of any, maybe other colors besides black.
I have been using the Logitech cordless keyboard and mouse four about nine months and now feel I can make a good case for why everyone should have this combo! Setup: Wow, really this could not have been easier. I was a little worried it ...

Never Thought I'd Have Fun With a Keyboard Review

by youngchinq Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 1000, Apr 01 '03
Pros: I can write this from my bed: Haha to all you people chained by wires.
Cons: Why black? Sporadic glitchiness. Installs promotional software crap that should promptly be deleted.
I remember the keyboards and mice when my friends and I were having sandbox wars and plundering each others castles; when the plain, off-white 104-key keyboard and one-button mouse was used to accidentally crunch that '39' – which, by the way, is...

If BatMan needed a Keyboard and mouse.

by alpha_male76 , Jan 02 '03
Pros: Keys feel really nice KB makes little noise. Mouse is solid and doesnt skip.
Cons: Short range.Approx 10 feet. Kb doesnt have caps-lock or num-lock light onboard.
If Batman had a PC or Mac, this is the Kb/Mouse combo he would use. There are more functions and cool buttons then the caped crusader will know what to do with.
Very nice Combo, I am very impressed with both of them. I got them on special for $99cdn...

Very Elite Indeed

by bytemaster , May 04 '03
Pros: Very cool looking, excellent keyboard range, comfortable to use.
Cons: No charge stand so you're always popping mouse open to replace batteries, keyboard lags.
This keyboard and mouse combo is a very good product. The mouse is easy to hold and the whole thing just looks so great!

The first thing I'll mention is the battery life. The keyboard seems to never die. I got my combo for Christmas and...

A great way to reduce clutter and improve functionality.

by bryking , Oct 26 '03
Pros: Great software functionality and tactile response. A nearly flawless duo.
Cons: Minor installation hiccups. Mouse’s battery life.
I decided to try a cordless mouse and keyboard combination to get rid of clutter on my desk. I’ve always had good luck with Logitech products, and the several positive reviews I’d read on the Cordless Duo Elite made for an easy decision. So far there’ve b ...

by emedendorp , May 08 '03
Pros: Sleek design, no cables, easy to use and setup, easy to hide receiver
Cons: Mouse hard on batteries, mouse hibernates way to early
Well, I'll just start out saying that I'm using this keyboard to type this review. I have had this set for about 4-5 months now. I'm not sure of exactly how long because I don't remember the exact date that I purchased it. I have yet to have a problem...

by lordhesh , Jun 17 '04
Pros: Nice design, color, features
Cons: Does not work to often for me. None existant tech support
Set up was rather easy. Just install, plug it in, connect, set it up and boom... you are all set. But after reading some of the other reviews, I noticed that I had some problems that no one else really pointed out. Not simple problems like "The keyboard ...

Excellent wireless combo at a great price!

by rasi2290 , Sep 16 '03
Pros: Small but comfy keyboard, lots of features, RF sensor, stylish!
Cons: Mouse is angled and contoured for a right-centric world.
I had stayed away from wireless keyboards and mice for a long time, because they just never performed as well as their wired brethren. Response rate was significantly lower, and the mouse was often heavy and clunky. And you had to fiddle with the IR senso ...

The Logical Decision

by eoraptor , Apr 17 '03
Pros: Excellent design, long range, lightwieght
Cons: prone to interference, battery intense
Alright, I'll admit I'm a technophile, love gadgets. When I decided it was time to hook my PC to my entertainment center, I knew that running 20 feet of keyboard and mouse cable was not going to work.

Obviously the answer was Wireless. The...

Free From Attachments

by SEMAJ , Jan 10 '03
Pros: FREEDOM from cables and wires!!
Cons: Mouse goes into hibernation and must be clicked or scrolled to reactivate. Battery longevity.

Best for the Basic Home User

by gibtde , Jul 11 '04
Pros: No Wires, Chargable base station (don't have to pay for batteries on the mouse).
Cons: Too many buttons on keyboard, Meanger linux support, odd connection setup.
I purchase this mouse and keyboard set sometime last year in hopes that it will remove my wire mouse frustration. The set is a bit exspensive considering that a "normal" mouse and keyboard set would cost you about 15$ at the local mom & pop shop. I ...
