Excellent, short-lived keyboard
by bugbomb ,Jan 25 '04
Pros: Comfortable, Quiet, Compact, Portable, Easy to clean Cons: Frequent Doubblled Characters, Virtually indestructible for about one year
I bought a VIK in December of 2002. The keyboard is now over one year old, out of warranty, and I fear it may not last much longer. One of the reasons I bought it was because of its resistance to liquids and ease of cleaning. Now the rubber skirts on some of the keys are cracking and developing holes. There is no way I could wash this keyboard now without damaging it.
The keyboard is a great idea, and works very well at being compact, portable, and comfortable, but I can't bring myself to by a new one every 13 months.
