Pros: Price, booms well and is very rock compliant. Well built, beefy and very nice looking. Cons: none yet, but I have only started to break it in!
I was pleasantly surprised when I got this speaker and threw it in my trunk. Since I drive a small car, and have little trunk space, I decided to go with 1 15" speaker instead of 2 10's or 12's. I paid $99.95 for it off of EBAY, which I considered a ...

WARNING! Only for the severe music junkies!
by spyke_x ,May 22 '05
Pros: It's Kicker
LOUD
Durable Cons: Had a coil come loose but was easy to fix.
I received this sub for X-Mas last year, and now i've got familiar with it, it's time to review it.
Structure:
This sub is built very strongly. Besides the coil that came loose on the inside of it(Which took 1 min to fix), it is built perfectly.
Sound:
Well, its KICKER, so you know its going to be loud. And loud it is!! I can't have loose change or open drinks anywhere in or on my car when this baby is cranked up!!
Price:
I'm not sure how much mine was but I see some on epinions here for about 120?? That is an unreal price for this amazing subwoofer.
Final Verdict:
I've owned Sony subs (crap), Lightning audio subs (better but still crap), and power acoustik (great subs but not quite like the kickers), and still i believe that Kicker produces the best sound and loudest BOOMs.

Crazy glue your rear view mirror!!
by dezit28 ,Dec 31 '04
Pros: looks, size, power handling Cons: Kind of big but big guys need big subs!!
I have a one of these mounted in a ported box with a profile amp running about 420 watts rms at 4ohms and I can't hear my self think sometimes. This is a tuff as nails sub and the thick rubber surround is stiched so its very durable. It does not reach the higher bass notes but it will absolutely punish the lower ones believe me.

CVR's are the best buy for your money!
by ineedagirl2006 ,Jun 20 '06
Pros: Great subs, all eyes are on you when you bang on down the street Cons: gave me 3 sound violations! But that was my fault.
I have had 2 CVR12-4, 2 CVR12-2, and now to CVR15-2, and I must say that these are the most incredible subs I have ever encountered in this price range. Caution, not for people that don't want their socks rocked off! It will vibrate passer-byers, have the cops keep a close eye on you, and make the people in the car in front of you at a stoplight stick their fingers in their ears while giving you a dirty look in their rearview mirrors.
