Cons: doesn't stay working

I bought this microwave 2 years ago and six months after I installed it I started having trouble with it. One night my wife left a plastic cup in it and the machine started heating up all on its own. I woke up in the middle of the night to the smell of burning plastic. Kitchenaid sent out a repairman and it was fixed. Two months later it did it again, they changed some more parts and it worked fine. Two years and 4 more repair trips the thing is broken again, it doesn't last more than a few months at a time. Kitchenaid refuses to replace it, I guess its cheaper to just keep sending repairmen out. This is the last Kitchenaid appliance I will ever buy.

One month old and the magnatron tube needed to be replaced - 300.00.  Luckily it was under warranty.  Now that it's out of warranty, the primary circut board needs to be replaced.
