Excellent Sub if your looking for quality bass
by catharsis147 ,Jan 15 '04
Pros: Excellent construction, solid bass performance, excellent price for the performance Cons: Bass could be a little more powerful, takes a while to "break in"
Purchased sub for $364 at J and R (Highly recommended store by the way). Bass was well behaved without ever becoming boomy. I could place this sub anywhere in a room, and this sub rocked! Excellent construction considering price, including SERIOUS banana plugs, a BASH amplifier and a solid, heavy structure. Only problem is that if your looking for pant-shaking bass, you should either look elsewhere, or purchase a second sub, like another RW. For musicality and depth, I would say go with a second RW. After listening to various subs in this price range, I have to say that this sub beats all competitors. Highly recommended
