Pros: Terrific professional quality photos, many easy to use features, very durable. Cons: Uses batteries quickly but this is not a major issue.
Could this be one of the best? I purchased my Kodak DX4530 Digital Camera about three years ago. I haven't had one single problem with it. It has the same quality as it did three years ago. When I made the purchase I paid about $300 for the camera and ...

Pros: SO EASY to use camera and software. Takes videos, too. Great resolution. Cons: The kids wiggle out of position before the camera takes the shot.
Okay, I know so many of us are worried about getting a digital camera. You're thinking "Gee, I'd really like to do all those neat things, like e-mail pictures. But, I'm not going to understand how to use it.". Well, if you are currently USING e-mail, ...

Pros: picture quality, easy to understand, zoom, software, easy to upload pictures Cons: weight/size, battery life, lens cap
The Kodak DX4530 digital camera met every expectation I had the minute I got the camera. I received the camera as a Christmas gift three years ago. After many weeks of research, this was the camera that made its way to the top of my list. My ...

Pros: A great camera for someone looking for point and shoot features. Great family camera! Cons: The silly little lens cap is really a pain!
My experience with Kodak has not been very positive, so when my husband presented me with this camera for Christmas, I didn't quite know what to say. I told him that I would try it out and see what it could do. Keep in mind, all I really want was a ...

Pros: Excellent price! Cons: Sometimes blurs the pictures if not steady enough. Did not come with printer dock.
I bought this camera at Wal-Mart the day after Thanksgiving. I couldn't pass up the great deal on a 5 megapixel camera! The camera is so easy to use! It has a dial on the top of the camera that lets you know which setting you are on (it has pictures ...

Pros: Great Digital Camera Cons: Slow shutter speed
We purchased the Kodak 4530 in 2004 when we were expecting our first child. Since then we have taken over 8000 high quality photos. At 5 mega pixels it is now one of the lower mega-pixel cameras but we have always been happy with the quality. We have had ...

Pros: Look and feel is good for we Boomers. Easy transfer of pics to the PC. Cons: Costly and short life batteries; only 32 MB internal memory. Kodak EZ-Share software is so-so.
Update: Still happy with this camera. I have no need to go out and buy a later model with more features. Flawless, easy operation. The Kodak EZ-Share software provided is adequate, but not easy to navigate around so that photo files are simply ...

Pros: Priced very competitively with other 5 meg cameras. Cons: Needs just a few more menu options.
I just purchased this camera about a week ago and I'm happy with it so far. It is very light and uses standard AA batteries. The LCD screen is easy to read even outdoors. I like the 5 megapixel resolution, but I think Kodak compresses it a little too much ...

Pros: Great pictures, even at lower quality settings.
Easy to use.
Uncomplicated menus. Cons: Iffy lens cap.
No webcam capability
I bought this camera as a "point and shoot" small camera to take with me as I travel on business. I say "Instamatic" because this camera fulfills Kodak's tradition of bringing easy photography to the masses. The analogy ends with the quality of the ...

Fantastic Camera
by monkeyhanger19 ,Feb 09 '07
Pros: Faultless Cons: faultless for only 2 years
I've seen photos taken with several Canon SLR digital cameras, and my DX4530 photo's are better in every way, I was considering purchasing a Canon SLR D300 but when I compared the photo's I changed my mind and stuck to the Kodak DX4530, but it's breaking my heart now that mine has stopped working after 2 years, its switching on, recording sound in Video Mode but no pic and nothing showing on the screen when I want to take a pic, if I take a pic it's just completely black, I phoned Camera Mart about a possible repair but looking at least £90.00 to repair, possibly £120.00 depending on the fault. Any Ideas anyone?

OK Camera but terrible service
by bccinny ,Mar 15 '05
Pros: Decent pictures. Easy to use. Cons: NO warranty on camera. You are on your own.
I've had the camera for one year and it is easy to use and takes decent pictures. The interface within the camera to download pictures broke before the warranty expired. The customer support person stated it is either the USB cable or the camera itself. Replacing the USB cable did not fix the problem so the camera is defective. Basically there is no warranty as they sent me an email stating where to send the camera and the costs involved to get it fixed. Costs? Beware of bogus warranties from Kodak.

High-end features for a low-end price!
by rctennis3811 ,Jul 31 '04
Pros: Kodak brand, clear screen, low price, many features for this price range Cons: slow when taking picture - but that doesn't really bother me
I bought the Kodak EasyShare DX4530 for my mother this past Christmas and we all love it! The price was unheard of for a 5 megapixel camera (whereas a $299 Sony digital camera only had about 3 megapixels). This camera does everything the average buyer wants a camera to do and more. It's not as advanced as some other 5 megapixel cameras, but for the price it's considered a bargain. :-D
