Pros: Ease of use, great pictures, cool video feature and auto settings Cons: Directional button too small, can't zoom while using video feature
Ok, $400 bucks seemed a little steep for a Kodak camera, but having spent less on other digital cameras that I was less than satisfied with, I decided to take the high dollar plunge with a name I could trust. This is my third digital camera, the ...
Pros: Compact, and stunning LCD Cons: Included strap flimsy. Software lacks features - I'd recommend you purchase a separate photo suite.
My sis was looking for a digital camera and asked me if I could do research and find the best camera I could find within her set price. I've checked reviews from Cnet.com to Pcworld.com and checked out cameras at electronics stores. After all I've ...
Pros: Takes great still pics of sites when you're driving or moving! AWESOME! Cons: None, can get scratched easily but that goes for all electronics!
I researched quite a bit before I purchased my camera in January of 2005. This camera has served me exceptionally well, so I am just letting everyone know that this model has stood the test of time and abuse for me so far. If you can find this model ...
Pros: User-friendly; compact; open standards allows use with Linux. Cons: Anemic flash; poor focusing in low-light or nighttime.
This camera is an excellent choice for consumers looking for a camera that goes anywhere and does most everything pretty well: a jack-of-all-trades. It has a very user-friendly interface, comfortably fits in a pants pocket, and is quite serviceable. It ...
Pros: Small, easy to handle, menu system, many features/options for taking pictures or videos. Cons: Not impressed with digital zoom, or software, although, the software was barely used by myself.
I like this camera. I bought the camera because I wanted one with at least 5 megapixel. This one caught my eye as a smaller, easy to handle camera with a ton of features I thought I could use. The menu, size, options, sound capture and many preset ...
Disappointing-Repair is too expensive-Protect Feature Complicated by azballoon_lady ,Dec 26 '06
Pros: Easy to use. Lots of features. Pictures are beautiful. Very light weight. Cons: Expensive camera now useless unless I spend $130 for repair. (Not gonna happen)
It only lasted 1.5 years before cheap plastic battery clip came off. Kodak wants $130 to repair. So does camera store. Amazing to think this expensive camera is now useless because of such a small thing. I feel ripped off because I paid $175 new for a disposable camera. I'm going back to buying inexpensive ones, so I won't feel bad if they break. Also, nothing in the instruction booklet or on the website tells how to remove the protect feature. I used it on a few pix when I first got the camera. All this time and I'm still stuck trying to figure out how to delete them.
Pros: cost, battery life, great pictures, easy to use Cons: none
This was my first digital camera, and I could not ask for more. it does everything i need it to do (i am the point and click kind of person so i dont need any of that fancy schmanzy stuff). it takes wonderful pictures, superb detail, the controls are vey easy to use, and the battery life is very good.
Glad I waited to purchase a digital camera. Great, especially for the price. by pinkgrace ,Apr 24 '06
Pros: Easy to use features. Makes sounds like a regular camera. Value priced. Cons: Software limited but does not take away from this being a really good camera.
This camera has many easy to use features. No tricky symbols to interpret. It is nice to have a lot of features, but if you can't figure out how to use them, what's the point? This camera is very user friendly. Camera defaults to make actual camera sounds, ex: like the shutter sound, to let you know when you have taken the picture. I have used other digital cameras and have had to look at the display to see if the picture was captured. Sounds can be turned off or changed to non-camera sounds. The camera is a nice weight and feels good to handle, like using a traditional camera. For beginners like me, this really adds a comfort level to using the product. This is a no-fuss camera, takes very good pictures and comes at a terrific price. The software is not the best and I use other photo software to make any changes. Still, the software would not keep from purchasing this easy to use, sleek-styled, feature-full camera.
Pros: Easy to use. Good quality for basic pics. Cons: Digital zoom is fuzzy. Indoor sport pics difficult
I used this camera for 6 months. I've got children in sports so it gets lots of use in those type of settings. When I get all the settings right it takes gorgeous pictures. Some of my pics from Colorado look like postcards. The 5 megapixels allows me to crop out background and still have a nice 4 x 6.
The zoom is good until you get past the line into the digital zoom. Every picture taken past the 2.8 optical zoom is blurry. I've stopped even trying. This means that if your taking pictures of your kid 30 yards away you're going to struggle for a closeup. I've also struggled with indoor sports pictures. They are either blurry or dark.
The unit is durable. My son dropped it and put a dent in the front but it still works great. I've used the Kodak software finding it adequate. The manual is sparse but I did get a quick response from their tech support.
It is a very good camera and I'm still learning how to use it. Someday I want to upgrade to a "big boy" camera but this is a great first step.
bad refurbished camera by Kodak by bengaze ,Dec 15 '05
Pros: small, light & easy to use, like the toggle button Cons: very poor picture quality - dark & blurry
bought this camera as an 'up-grade' from Kodak after the LS443 broke, so far, the LS753 has taken dark blurry pictures at night, sports mode pictures usually come out blurry, close range pictures come out slightly blurry - Kodak has reviewed the pictures & even the camera & found there is nothing wrong with this camera. Kodak suggests we carry a tripod when taking pictures! so far we have sunk a lot of money into the two cameras and the Kodak reputation is slowly losing ground with us. not willing to purchase anything Kodak again at this point, until they can replace this camera with a fully functioning camera that can take decent quality pictures.
