Krups GVS112 1.5 Quart Ice Cream Maker

Pros: Made good ice cream (but this should go without saying!)
Cons: Too much risk of spilling ice cream mix on the motor.

Got this for Christmas and we're returning it after only one use. There seem to be too many parts that have to be clicked together to get this thing to work. The hole in the top pouring shield is too small and too close to the (non-waterproof) electric motor. It made good ice cream, but the risk of a big spill when loading the bowl is too great for my children to use this machine. We are going to get a Cuisinart model instead because it has a larger opening for pouring in the mix and its motor is better protected from spills.
