Before I bought this machine,I spent a lot of time doing research.Apparently the price and the specifications had boiled down my choice to Toshiba Satellite 1905-S303 .

I love the fact that it's as functional and fast as my desktop. The DVD quality is very good. Sound quality would improve by the addition of some external speakers. On my old laptop I used a mouse but this one has very sensitive rollerball control and I don't even miss a mouse. I wish it was lighter to handle and I wish the physical design was a bit more stylish, but, all in all, it's quite a machine.

I just bought this laptop last week and I love it. Its the first laptop I have even owned and I am extremely pleased. It was between this and a Dell but this computer appears to offer more at the same price as Dell. Good computer. Buy it!

I just got mine today. Its great and worth every $, but beware when buying sometimes they send you one with 256 DDR Ram (x2) instead of the stock 512 DDR then they resell the 512 to someone else and earn more proffit. If they did this to you call the BBB on them and report it. Its not right!

This machine pretty much does it all. The only draw back is that it is quite hefty. The screen is large and has good quality. So far battery life seems to be good. Performance is awesome but that is what you expect coming from Toshiba. I purchased mine directly from Toshiba and the sales staff was very helpful. Shipping was right on time and without any problems.
