Pros: Multiplayer, Battle Mode, Fun Mini Games, GBA Integration, Terrific Gameplay Cons: GBA Mandatory for Multiplayer, Sore Thumbs From GBA D-Pad
Let's face it, Nintendo hasn't exactly been giving their fans what they want during the current generation of consoles. Most fans were severely upset when they first saw that Nintendo had cel shaded the Legend of Zelda series. It was nearly as upsetting ...
Pros: a great multiplayer game, a solid single player game Cons: in order to enjoy the multiplayer you need 4 GBA's
While I got the Legend of Zelda the four swords adventures for the G
amecube
several months ago I only beat it today. Its not that Zelda four swords isnt a fun game its just that I liked to play it when ...
Pros: Probably amongst the top 10 best multiplayer games of all time Cons: Multiplayer reqs all 4 players to have GBAs and GBA/GCN connects.
This game is amazing... I do not even know quite where and how to begin, but here goes: Visuals This game is really nothing special in the visual department. It is a top down view (exactly the same as Zelda for the snes game.) However, this ...
Pros: GBA multiplayer is the greatest thing to happen to the GameCube. Cons: That you have to read this because you haven't yet bought the game.
Those of you who have played this game on GBA before should be familiar with the Story. The evil sorcerer named Vaati has escaped his seal of light, and has kidnapped 7 maidens. As you draw the four sword from the stone in front of you, you split into ...
Pros: Lots of fun puzzles Cons: Does require a GBA for multiplayer
In the beginning the four swords was only for the GBA. It was part of the reissue of Zelda 3 link to the past originally out for the SNES. Only thing was you cannot play four swords unless you had more than one copy of the game and GBA units. I am not ...
Pros: Exciting story, four ways/four swords/ lot's of action Cons: have to have gba connecter/ have to read this you didn't get to play

hey, ready for a challenge! by aztigerlilly ,Jul 30 '05
Pros: multi-player, fun, and affordable Cons: not available everywhere.
if you think the old Zelda was good then you have to try this one, it is guaranteed to blow your socks off! since i am also a very big game player, i know that nobody wants to play something that your really not interested in and this game is definitely going to keep you on your toes. even throughout the game, there is never a dull moment. if i was you, i would most certainly try it out and see for yourself. and, on top of it all, it is inexpensive, so if you are on a tight budget, like myself, you can still have fun without spending a fortune.
Four Swords: Zelda's Leap Into Multi-Player Fun! by tcgf ,Aug 14 '04
Pros: Organization, Familiar Characters and Settings, Multiplayer Action Cons: Graphics, Tiring to switch from Gameboy-Cube.
Have you been waiting for a multiplayer Zelda? This is Four Swords! It's a typical Zelda game with one of those very interesting stories tied to the end.
In order to whack enemies around, you will have to progress through all of the challenges, so whether you are playing alone or with friends, you still have to know your way around.
The graphics' efficiency is one thing this game lacks. Apparently, this game was supposed to look like the Super Nintendo's version of Zelda. But I would still like whacking my friends in 3D vision.
The worst part of this game is that you have to switch from GBA to Gamecube. And even worse, if you want to play with your friends in story mode, you all have to have gameboys and hookups. One comes free with the game, but a GBA doesnt! So if you want to play this game in multiplayer, you'll have to have at least two gbas. This greatly affects gameplay. When you enter a building, you play it on your GBA. When you exit, you play on the TV again.
In all, it's a totally original addition to the Zelda family.
Pros: It's fun. Cons: When you get to the last level it dose not make any sense.
My experience using this product is that it kept us all wanting to play pass midnight, which we did.
I bought this product because I enjoyed playing "The Legend of Zelda the Windwaker".
What I love about this product is it had the extra 3 links that was helpful in accomplishing the tasks.
What I hate about this product is when Princess Zelda is rescued and you are advanced to the place in the sky, that's when it begins to not make any sense.
Pros: The though was good at making this game have new life. Cons: The new life wasn't worth the previous one, nor the money.
This is a new twist on an old game. Unfortunately the old game was much better. The old Zelda game was challenging and made you think, while this one will have you walk with training wheels. The multiplayer is B.S. PERIOD. If you want to enjoy the multiplayer you need the GBA's to do so, and you also need to have friends that arent intellegent enough to just find the old one for the computer and play it. All around I would say that this game left me feeling like I was ripped off. If you have the money to buy this game, take my advice and save your self the disapointment. If you cant seem to hold back, either find a friend that was stupid enough to purchase it, or rent it if you can find a place that degrades themselves by renting it.
The legend of Zelda: the four irritants by psycic21 ,May 16 '06
Pros: Unique Hardware usage Cons: Formations are flawed, needs Gameboy Advance connector cable to get full experience, bad travel management.
Irritant one, formations suck. Irritant two, Nintendo needs to stop getting their marketing ideas from Sony and stop making people buy little-used parts just to get the full experience of the game. Irritation three, this has to be the worst Zelda travel system EVER, it reminds me of how a certain Italian plumber used to get around. Irritation four, the formations have little areas where they cannot hit (for example the diamond formation cannot hit very well at the corners without you breaking your thumb on the buttons.) On the positive side I do like that Nintendo deviated a little from the normal "Gannon is back and he is mad" idea. And they did make good use of the Gameboy Advance connectors.
Using the power of the Four Sword, you'll split yourself into four different Links. You'll need all four to compete against each other as you work to ...More at Amazon Marketplace
