Lenoxx Electronics DVD2003 DVD Player

Pros: Good bang for the buck paid. $60
Cons: Cheap remote control.

Picked up DVD player for the office. It worked fine from the very first day. Plays all my DVD's without any problems and it's been trouble free since. I've had this for almost 10 months now.

Pros: Options you have to research. Low price.
Cons: Frankly none. Just take care of it, and do use heat sinks.

just needs a little TLC. This dvd player has features most people don't know about,and not in the manual. I have several that work just fine and have had several yrs. I do however, recommend putting heat sinks on the video chip to keep it cooler. A rare find these days.

Pros: Plays VCDs
Cons: subtitle control, remote, playback in general, MP3 Access.

I purchased this product about 18 months ago from Walmart. Here are some negative experiences with this product.

1. Subtitles flash a few times during any movie - very wierd.

2. Recently played LOTR I & II and it kept freezing constantly for no reason. Perhaps it cannot handle the fine detail of newer dvds. (There movies were both tested on a Sony and they played fine)

3. The remote feels like it belongs in a fisher price toy box. light, flimsy, unit does not response unless you point it exactly at the right spot.

4. Horrible MP3 access - 8 character file names
