Pros: Works well, when it is working. Cons: Requires a daily power cycle to restart wireless communication.
The unit I have now is a warranty replacement. The original would stop wireless communication within a day of disconnecting/reconnecting power (power cycling). There was a firmware update available, installed that and reduced the original to a state where all it could do was light its fault LED. After an hour with technical support an RMA was issued to get a replacement. The replacement arrived on time and had the latest firmware already installed. The replacement has the same problem that the original had, sometime within a day of power cycling the wireless communications goes down.
The FAQs on the Linksys website suggest power cycling when wireless activity stops, apparently it is a problem they know about but cannot or will not fix.

Pros: Excellent customer service and a great product Cons: None!
The Linksys WAP55AG tri-mode access point is an excellent unit! Setup was a breeze! It was also very easy to configure all the security access settings. I found it to be pretty much plug-n-play. Configuration only took about 10 15 minutes. I have been using it with the Linksys WPC55AG notebook adapter and have had excellent connectivity.
I dealt with the Linksys tech support when trying to configure multiple routers for a small business setup and they went above and beyond the call to solve my problem. I would recommend any products made by Linksys and their parent company Cisco.
