I purchased the Linksys USBVPN1 for the VPN feature; I wanted to be able to link to my VPN enabled router at work. I like linksys products in general. However, I was never able to get an internet connection. I tried calling Linksys, and their customer support was spotty. First I received a message that their support lines were busy, a machine instructed me to call back before it hung up on me. The second time a receptionist routed my call, but the person who answered the call acted like he just happened to pick up a ringing phone. He could not help me, and he sent me back into the tech support waiting line. The third person tried to help me, but could not. She said that I should return the product; she claimed that it was defective. Even if it did connect to the internet, there is no user manual telling you how to set up the VPN. I cannot recommend this device.
