For Boston Is Now For Everyone

by PacManY2J PacManY2J is a Top Reviewer on Epinions in Music, Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, Oct 02 '02
Pros: Perfectly captures the rowdy fun of the Murphys' live show; stacked set list
Cons: Where's Dicky on Dirty Water?
It’s been a long time in the making, but the Dropkick Murphys have finally released their Live on St. Patrick’s Day album so that fans can enjoy the rip-roarin’ good time that is a Murphys show anytime they want. A Murphys live show ...

You Show Me Boston-Irish Drunks, I'll Show You Scottish Smack Addicts (ISYMYSMY W/O 3)

by thevoid99 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Jun 02 '03
Pros: An Excellent, Fun Live Album from the Dropkick Murphys.
Cons: Some Might Have A Hard Time to Catch Up w/ Their Intensity.

It’s that time once again folks for the “I’ll Show You Mine, You Show Me Yours” W/O, hosted by the King of Rock himself, MattA75. The objective of the W/O is easy, you’re paired with another writer. You make that writer review...

"Well I Love That Dirty Water, Ohhhh, Boston You're My Home!"

by MattA75 Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 50, Sep 10 '02
Pros: loud, rambunctious and fun
Cons: where is my Kay?
You never saw The Clash at the Palladium or U2 at the Paradise or caught any of the gigs The Ramones used to do in the beach dives along Quincy Shore Drive. You wish you had, but you didn't. But there's still a chance to catch...

What A Dropkick!

by bybob , Oct 24 '02
Pros: beats, lyrics, long, songs, lots
Cons: I havent seen them live.
"What the Macy's Thanksgiving parade is to New York in November, The Dropkick's show is to Boston in March."

A quote from the booklet of the Dropkick Murphy's new live album, Live On St. Patrick's Day. And boy are they...

The Dropkick Murphy's, A Few Good Men

by sxepunk , May 14 '03
Pros: Its the Dropkick Murphys, blimey!
Cons: Given the cost vs. content, none.
"Blue collar music at a Blue collar price" This phrase is printed on the sticker of the cover of the Dropkick Murphys first live album, one which packs over 20 tracks in 76 minutes. The Dropkicks could have easily split this baby into two discs and sold...

Excellent live album

by stretch_nutz69 , May 16 '03
Pros: High-Energy show, funny dialogs, it's available on Vinyl!
Cons: A little too much sentimental, corny dreck in spots
My brother bought this album on Vinyl in October, and I've borrowed it twice for 3 month spans, I've regretted returning it each time.

He actually was there when this album was recorded, he said the crowd was quite rabid, and it's apparent...

Closest You'll Get to a St. Patty's Day Riot

by dstiehr , Jul 21 '08
Pros: Great track selection, listener feels they're really at this concert
Cons: could have gone three hours longer
The Dropkick Murphys are one of those rare bands that is in some ways more than a musical ac, they're a lifestyle unto themselves. The central tenets of the Murphys' identity - punk rock values and pride in their Irish heritage - are all about unity, ...

Dropkicks do it again!Green Beer, Hockey Fights and all!

by ericthatguy , Jan 14 '03
Pros: Great Sounding;"for a live cd!", cheap, long(74 minutes)
Cons: in a number of songs the guitar is a little faded
This CD starts out with a bang! Well actually it starts out with the Gaelic Boston Police Drum & Pipes group, play some traditional celtic folky music. DM opens up with For Boston, a song that lives (or should live) in the hearts of all Boston Punks; For...

great album by a great band!
by ashinator329 ,Mar 15 '04
Pros: High voltage punk with an traditional Irish twist!
Cons: If you don't know the Murphys, it may take a while to get used to
This is an excellent record! It's very lively, fun, and really gets your heart rate going. Listening to it kinda puts you in Boston, and it makes you want to grab the nearest person and dance the night away! This is by far my favorite Dropkick Murphys album because there are 26 songs and since it's live, it really gets you going, I definitely recommend buying this album.
