Cons: Good amp and x-over are a must.

These speakers have excellent sound reproduction and good clarity when hooked up to a good x-over and amp. I am powering mine with an Eclipse Ea3422 50 x 4 rms amp and they make the speakers scream. If you are looking for good quality and loud music these are the speakers for you. Just make sure you get a good x-over to filter out unwanted frequencies, the x-over built in to the amp might not suffice. Excellent choice and they are pretty cheap as well.
