Would not recommend Maytag dehumidifier

Pros: Works very well for a couple of years.
Cons: Warranty repair is VERY SLOW!!
Purchased a new Maytag dehumidifier in 2004. It worked very well for 3 years. It stopped producing water in the bucket. Took it in for warranty repair. (5 year warranty) Service center has had it for 2 months. Cannot get parts from Maytag to fix it!!

Pros: Cannot get warranty Service for squealing motor
Cons: Works well when it works
You can expect a runaround between Maytag, Home Depot, and Fedders. Not a good buy! If you disregard the 5 year warranty, you will get a product that will be warranteed for one year only.
