Pros: Excellent printing for photos, graphics and all sized text. Cons: Small manual; useful information only on CD. Average noise.
I didnt know color laser printers could do so well with photographs, graphics and text until I bought the Minolta/QMS 2350 EN Magicolor color laser printer. I needed excellent printer resolution for a side business that I do. This required ...
Pros: network-ready. 1200x600 dpi for photos! Mac and Windows compatible. Cons: a bit noisy. paper documentation skimpy, but that's the way manuals are going these days.
Hello. The QMS-Minolta Magicolor 2350 EN is an outstanding printer. It's the best printer that I've ever had. Previous to this purchase, I had two other lasers - both monochrome. I had a QMS-Minolta PagePro 1150 and still have a Samsung ML-1430. ...
Pros: Print quality, speed, ease of use Cons: cost is high compared to an ink jet (but worth it!)
I was in search of a color laser printer that I could use for home use to print photographs. My wife wanted to be able to print photos of our children to give to relatives and the like. We also occasionally print documents that we use for work, and ...
Pros: Great photo realistic, easy to set up and no problems feeding. Cons: Display needs some work. Not all functions are available on the Mac.
I bought the 2350en from BUYDIG.com and it was dropped shipped to me from the manufacture. Took about 5 days to reach me. I was assured of the rebate, but when I got the form it stated that it wasn't valid unless you paid 879 or more for it. Uggh. I ...
Pros: Excellent quality for the price. Cons: Don't listen to it when it says to change the toners.
Just purchased it from Costcentral.com for $904 including shipping. This printer is awesome. The quality is absolutly excellent. I used it to print off a company newsletter and it did great. Photographs on regular plain copy paper are also excellent. ...
Minolta 2350 EN...A Great Printer by jperaino ,Feb 15 '04
Pros: Excellent print quality and ease of use. Cons: Menus and LCD display difficult to understand and read.
This Minolta printer will rival the best of the ink jets. The color prints are accurate and the colors jump right off the page. I was shocked at the quality of this printer at such an affordable price. I also bought the auto-duplexer 2nd input tray and installed the max memory. It is a bit loud, the LCD display is all but useless, and the menu system is very difficult to understand, but the print quality more than makes up for these shortcomings. I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone who needs good clean accurate color prints.
Pros: Very Flexible, great color, fast and economical Cons: Must be rebooted after going into Power save.
I'm a Real Estate Professional and do most of my advertising with my own 8 1/2 by 5 1/2 inch postcards. Before the 2350 I used inkjets/laserjets etc. The Minolta has greatly enhanced my advertising methods. My ink costs have decreased by 80%. The time to print my ads has decreased by 2/3rds. I am completely satisfied with this printer. I have it connected to my laptop via the parallel port, the USB bus and also via a small hub for a local network connection and have found the parallel connection is the most usable. This is not because of the 2350 it's because of my aging laptop. I just wanted to point out the flexiblity of the great printer. I use it for my big jobs and use my laserjet for normal printing. You will love the color and speed of the printer. The only problem is it hangs up sometimes (very infrequently) and says "printing" on it's display and must be rebooted and must be rebooted after going into "power save". tburns0112@aol.com
Pros: Easy set up operation
Yea! Fast awesome color printing
Colors really pop off paper Cons: Had best output with default color profile, other settings resulted in weird color variations
After spending about $400 a month for ink jet cartridges plus photo paper, I wanted to change to a photo quality color laser for the reduced cost and increased speed. I chose the 2350EN based on the higher dpi resolution versus other color laser printers in the same price range.
Set up was pretty quick for a direct network install although the auto DHCP set up did not work; manually inputting the printers IP was easy enough, though.
First test pages printed great and while not quite the level of a photo ink jet on photo paper, the consistency of the toner fill coupled with how the colors lay on top of the paper make it a real eye popper. Got a great deal on this at Dell.com for US$980.00 delivered.
Excellent quality print and fine ease of use. by markasmith ,Nov 11 '03
Pros: Great output. Easy set-up. Very reasonable price. Can network directly, no extra card needed. Cons: A bit loud. LCD panel and menu system tough to use.
Great color for business printing and impressive on photographs. Not quite a match for inkjets with photos but good enough for a lot of uses. You'll use a good bit of toner if you do much printing in color, but the results will please you. Runs about 3 copies a minute in color and close to the rated speed black only. Easy set-up but the manual is all on the CD. The LCD panel and menu system are pretty inscrutable without using the CD and some patience, but it isn't actually often needed. I recommend buying good quality laser paper, especially for photos. Couldn't do without this printer now. Takes about 4 minutes to start up if you turn it off (I don't). About a minute from energy saving mode. Automatic recalibration after replacing a toner cartridge takes 4-5 minutes.
