Pros: Killer color and B&W images, lightweight, easy to use, inexpensive.
Cons: Believe it or not, but I can't think of any!

Summary: I was looking for something a little better than your typical "point and shoot" which doesn't offer many options for better quality or special situations. A 35mm SLR was in order. But my budget did not exceed around $300.00. I didn't want to go ... read more

Cons: Flimsy construction, weak auto-focus and metering systems.

Summary: For years I used "point and shoot" cameras for snap shots, family vacations, outings, holidays etc. I have other cameras but they are manual for the most part and just too cumbersome for this purpose. One day I picked up this Minolta at a store and I ... read more

Cons: Flash delay sometimes causes a missed shot

Summary: I've had this camera for several months now and have yet to find anything that it cannot do that I want it to. It takes splendid color shots and pretty good black and whites. I've only begun to dig into all the functions that it has, but again, I

Pros: it essentially has all the "features" in one camera.
Cons: because of all the camera malfunctions, i lost a lot of shots.

Summary: as a previous owner of the maxxum 7000, i ignored all advice not to purchase this camera. from the beginning, the camera began to eat batteries. after only a year and a half years, the focus indicator stopped working, and i was started getting 'glare'
