Mitsubishi VS-4543 45 inch TV

Pros: Great picture for the yr it was built. Very user friendly. Trouble free!
Cons: I have no cons. Paid 2K for it in 97 and have no regrets.

My TV just turned 10 yrs old this month and I haven't had one problem with it. When I buy my next bigscreen TV it will definitely be a Mitsubishi! That will probably happen in 2009
when all TV networks go digital.

Pros: Excellent picture and reputation.
Cons: Unit did not meet my expectations, and service and repair are expensive.

Unit worked well for eight years. Suddenly, unit would not turn on. Paid $100.00 for authorized service company to conduct inspection to learn power supply circuit needed to be replaced at a cost of $310.00. I am very disappointed in the performance of this television. I bought a Mitsubishi because i believed their products to be superior in performance and quality, but only got eight years out of my set. Would not buy again !!
