Pros: This set looked great when it did work.
Cons: If you're foolish enough to buy this, get as much warranty as you can.
Summary: I bought this TV at Ken Cranes in Orange County CA. and the little green light on the front started blinking one night and the TV wouldn't turn on. After a huge hassle with getting it looked at, I was told that it was the DM board and that this was ... read more

Pros: Beautiful picture with vivid color
Cons: Unreliable, noisy fan, poor manufacturer service record, EXPENSIVE
Summary: I purchased the Mitsubishi WD-62725 in November of 2004 and paid over $4400 including a 4 year extended warranty from a well known local appliance chain. The TV has a good picture when it's working. The problem is it has given me more ... read more

Pros: Decent picture when it worked.
Survived a few thunderstorms
Cons: Frequently was not working
Too heavy to pick up and throw away without assistance
Summary: When I purchased the television in 2004 it had a nice picture. However, I have had to have the television repaired two times because of the infamous blinking green light. In between repairs, there were still times when the television would ... read more

Nice picture, when we hooked up HD it looked awesome.Cons:
After one year of owning the TV everything broke on it.
Summary: After one year the fans went out, then the sound went out then the chassis went out, everything was replaced and then after 4 months without a TV since it was being worked on we get our TV back after 1 week the TV started shutting down again every 30 ... read more

Pros: Great picture quality, especially in HD.
Cons: Could have more HDMI inputs.
Summary: Had this set for almost 2 years. Got DirecTV with the HD DVR. Looks excellent especially in 1080i and 720p. The fan is a bit loud but this TV is not meant to be watched from 10 inches away. I don't think that the fan noise is noticeable, the TV is ... read more

Pros: Great for sports. Good sound
Cons: White spot during dark scenes. Slow channel changes. Fan on 24/7.
Summary: No tv technology is without its problems, but this one is especially annoying. This tv is great for watching sports but if you watch a movie with a lot of dark scenes in a dimly lit room you will be annoyed by a bright white "hotspot" in the ... read more

Pros: Nice Picture / easy HD setup
Cons: Very Loud Cooling Fan / Slight Glare
Summary: Great picture and easy HD setup with this mitsubishi model. Very disappointed with how loud the cooling fan is, and I am returning this product. Because the fan noise is driving me crazy. If you have bright or sunny room, be ready for slight ... read more

Pros: Great Picture - best without shield. TV software can be updated.
Cons: shield has some glare, slight delay in changing channels.
Summary: Picture for digital broadcast beyond belief. Compared to Samsung 6300 series the Mitsi blows it away. Best Buy sold me on picture when they popped of the anti-glare screen - in fact they have left it off to this day. With it off it blows every ... read more

Pros: Great picture and very nice design
Cons: Software is very unstable, poor quality. very noisy fan
Summary: very good picture quality. But, too much new technologies. Within the first week, the TV has two black dots on the screen. the dots are about 1/8 inch square. Mitsubishi says the mirrors are stuck. I have to return the unit. Also, the TV locks up ... read more

Pros: Small footprint.
The best color I've seen.
Cons: Glare reduction screen could actually produce glare in some instances but can be removed.
Summary: I like it much better at home than in the store. I was afraid of having a lot of glare since I have a huge window at my back while viewing. But there is a tall dark green hedge outside the window and I see ZERO glare. I thought I would have to take ... read more

Pros: Great picture, small footprint (fit nicely into a corner), individual color adjustment. Cable card slot.
Cons: Digital channel changing is slow.
The mitsubishi stand is too shallow for some components.
Summary: I got my new 62725 last week and have had a chance to play with most of the features. Everything hooked up very easily and the configuration was a no-brainer. The picture is awesome. I am not a videophile, so I have not run any test patterns to verify ... read more
