Pros: small, point and shoot, good for night shots. Cons: Would of course love to have better optical zoom
I just received this digital camera, its my fourth, up from 1mp to 2/3 with software. If you take the time and really study the manual, things most people don't like to do, this little machine will perform for you. It does decent silent digital .avi ...

LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE
In January of 2003, I purchased a Mustek MDC3500 Camera. A cheapy, so I wasn't expecting all that much. However, it has been a fun little camera and I've gotten a lot of use out of it. The batteries (2 AA) lasted longer than I expected. I took it on ...

I love this camera. I...
by richjewel_dt3000 ,Feb 21 '03
I love this camera. I bought it for a trip to see my family. This was a big hit. My sister went out and bought one also. My parents were surprised at the easy download. I was disappointed when mine was stolen out of the hotel and the police haven't recovered it. I am looking at buying the same one but the price has increased. I didn't like that I was having to change batteries everyday because I used the LED screen daily and using it every minute of the day that I was awake. My family is pleased with the quality of the pictures that I was able to download before the mishap. Overall, I would highly recommend the Mustek MDC-3500 to anyone who is looking at purchasing but invest in some rechargable batteries to.

Excellent product! I bought it last month, and I had a lot of shots in every condition... the results are always very good! The only problem is that batteries go weak rapidly, but it can be solved using two AA rechargeable batteries.

Great First-Time Digital Camera
by ryanjulie2 ,Nov 25 '06
Pros: Compact, lightweight, easy to use, takes great pictures, simple computer set up and manual. Selfstarter Cons: The bag that the camera is supposed to go in is a little flimsy.
When I got this little camera for a baby shower gift, I was a little disappointed. No huge extendo lens, no bulky mass, it was just, well.......simple. However, after we started using this during childbirth and the months after, I was very proud to call this simple and easy machine my "main camera". I use it all the time. I love how easy it was for me to use and I know what every function means. (Usually, it's just snap, look, and click on the other ones as I didn't want to read the huge manual that went with them that seemed way beyond my grasp) It has an extremly easy to use power cord that hooks up to my computer and it's so easy to get my prints edited and online.

Never Again Will I Buy from this Company
by jumper0037 ,Nov 10 '03
Pros: It's cute, and small. Cons: Everything you could possible image is wrong with it.
I thought it was really cute when I first bought it, but since I have had it there has been so many problems. If you buy this camera, you should definitely consider buying rechargeable batteries, because it is pointless to keep on buying batteries every week (4 pack) because this camera eats up batteries like nothing. After about two weeks of having this camera the latch wouldn't close, at first I thought it was because I opened the latch so often (to change the batteries). It definitely is not that because after reading that other person's review I have decided that this camera is sucks, in general.

I would not buy another of their products
by rehlee ,Oct 15 '03
Pros: It is small and compact and easy to carry. Cons: Cheaply made, customer service terrible. Batteries last a very short time.
I have nothing but trouble with my camera, and I get absolutely no response from emails or voice mail messages left on their website and phone lines. Needless to say, I am not a happy shopper and sure wish I had known about this site before I purchased the camera. Mine does say 3.1 mega pixels and 4X digital zoom, much like the 4000 but it also says it is a 3500.
The pictures are not great but for the price I suppose it is fair. The battery door latch does not latch and I have to hold it shut while I snap a picture, tape is not strong enough to keep it in contact.
