Very nice... Relaxed, authoritative, non-fatiguing

Cons: None at this price range compared to the competition.
Tried several other receives in and just above this price range. This receiver has no bells and whistles but if you need 23 different surround sound modes of which you will use none (gee, I'm not too opinionated here!) then look else where. What you ...

NAD T-743 = Excellent

Pros: Incredible sound- warm and smooth. Classy design- appearance of high quality. Easy to operate.
Cons: Plastic front input cover not up to the level of the rest of the materials.
First, let me clarify that I am not an audiophile and have limited experience listening to high-end equipment. That said, I can definitely hear a difference between a $300 pair of speakers and $2000 speakers. I wanted to get something for a modest home ...
