Pros: Bright, rich, gorgeous, good looking and surprisingly affordable. Cons: Shares the plasma feature of temporary burn-in when image left paused too long.
The Norcent PT420 & PT425 are essentially the same product with the PT425 having PIP (Picture In Picture) capability. We wanted to upgrade our TV from the good old square tube to something that could handle wide-screen and HDTV. For a couple of ...

Wow! Can I touch IT?

Pros: Extremely precise picture that makes you feel like you are there firsthand. Cons: Should come with a wall mount instead of stand, but personal preference.
This plasma is certainly worth every penny. It has awesome clarity of picture when it is on HDTV. The only thing that is missing is a continuation of the images. You get lose in the discovery channel in HD. It is mouth dropping excellence.

Good and Bad
by crazydayv ,Aug 05 '05
Pros: Great picture quality with High Def signal Cons: DVI is useless. No speakers. SD signals are really grainy looking.
Great picture when fed a 1080I signal (Mine from Dishnetwork 811 Receiver). The DVI input is worthless though. You cannot connect it to anything that is HDCP compliant and it will only accept up to 480p. You cannot send a 720 or 1080 signal to the DVI it won't work so you have to use the component video connection so there is no point in having the DVI at all.

Best bang for your buck(s)

Pros: Price, picture quality, brightness Cons: Cooling fans are loud, manual is terrible
I bought this plasma screen after checking out most of the models from the major manufacturers (Sony, Samsung, etc).
I got it for $1500 + shipping which way undercuts these other manufacturers by a very long way.
It has no speakers and no TV tuner but, if like me, you already have a surround sound system and a TiVo, that doesn't matter.
The actual plasma panel itself is a Fujitsu unit - the image quality is superb and the brightness excellent. There are a few niggles but they are easy to live with given the price.
