Pros: FAST chart re-draws, Navionics charts, VERY DURABLE! outstanding customer service
Cons: With polarized glasses - sometimes are the see all the screen.
Summary: I bought a used unit from e-bay and immediately put it to work. It's been over three years now and still not one problem to note. The super fast chart re-draws makes navigating close areas so much easier. The waterproof (resistant) is a must have -

Pros: Great functions, WAAS accuracy, easy to learn
Cons: Screen fogs after fifteen minutes, manufacturer won't replace the unit or fix it properly.
Summary: I bought a new 951 two years ago and installed it in my 25' center console. Immediately I found that within 15 minutes of startup the screen fogged to a point where it's tough to see the waypoints. My dealer said that all his Northstars had the same
