Pros: There are absolutely no pros to this phone or the company, OLYMPIA. Cons: Bad phone, bad company. Spend the extra money for a reputable name brand.
I purchased this phone and started noticing problems after a few weeks of using it. Problem No.1, it would go out during a conversation and beep on my end for no apparent reason. This was not call waiting! This would occur many, many times in the ...

Not my best purchase
by ccccccc2 ,Jul 08 '05
Pros: Cheap, loud ring, different ring tones Cons: quality
We live where we have an occasional airplane flying over head. Every time it happens my phone clicks and goes to dead air space to the point where my conversation must stop. People on the other end of the line are constantly complaining about the noise on this phone...it all goes away when I pick up my significantly older Sony cordless.

Good Value for the price
by jabawaki ,Dec 02 '03
Pros: The price is great and it works fine. Cons: Ringer vol can't be changed.
We bought this based upon this website and some other information, but mostly because of the price.
It's much less than other brands with the same functionality.
If you need a high end Motorola or vtech cordless expandable phone, then maybe this isn't for you - spend the money on the other brands.
However, if you want an expandable phone and are willing to tolerate not as high as quality then this is a great value. When I say 'not as high as quality', there is really only a few things I mean:
On occasion there might be a slight echo in the phone (not a big deal to me)
The phone is hard to hold up to your ear if you are using both hands.
The ringer doesn't appear to be adjustable in volume - very loud.
The call notification is an annoying beep - so I turned it off.
Other than this, you can beat the value for the price.
