Pros: High-quality juice including leafy greens, and easy to clean. Cons: Not a good grain grinder...
OK, most everyone’s heard of freshly squeezed orange juice, and those who’ve tried it will likely agree that it scarcely resembles the frozen reconstituted stuff. But what about freshly squeezed apple juice? Can you even imagine apple juice that isn’t ...
Pros: Not noisy at all, expresses a lot of juice, versatile, handles tough leafy veggies Cons: More expensive than a cup model, has a small opening to insert vegetables.
I bought the Omega 8002 Juicer on the recommendation of Dr. Joseph Mercola, a holistic health MD who has a popular newsletter and website. We met him at a health fair, tried vegetable juices (including wheatgrass juice) and realized that juicing was a ...
Pros: Quiet, extracts lots of juice, can handle wheatgrass, does nut butter and pasta, too. Cons: More expensive than simple juicers. Takes up more space on the counter.
The Omega 8002 "Food Processor" is another name for the 8002 Juicer. It's the same item. This model is a single gear machine that turns at a low 80 RPMs, with that powerful, slow auger that won't heat up the food or cause the juice to foam. This protects ...
Pros: juices leafy greens Cons: too many parts, parts break easily, juice too foamy, customer service doesn't reply
I've been juicing for the past three years with a centrifugal juicer that works like a charm. However, I was interested in a wheat grass juicer and purchased the Omega 8002 because of all of the impressive features listed on the box. I can only say two ...
Pros: Quiet, sturdy, good customer service/warranty Cons: somewhat hard/messy to clean. hard to identify some parts when returning for new ones.
We bought this user about three years ago. We use it EVERYDAY to juice wheatgrass (which does a great job at it) we have also juiced other veggies and other greens as well as fruits. I have not done the pasta or penutt butter like it says it does... just ...
Pros: Price, quality of juice and the components, many uses, easy to clean, powerful Cons: There seems to be more prep work than other juicers that I've tried.
If you do your research on the 8002 you will find that a lot of people say that it is a slow juicer. This thought has never crossed my mind. I've always been to impressed with its power and at the quality of the juice being produced to worry about it's speed.
Aside from making perfect juice... The 8002 makes wonderful frozen deserts. It's 1/3 hp motor is plenty to turn frozen peaches into a smoothly textured sorbet.
It is my epinion that you won't find a better juicer for the price.
Pros: *Simple juicer to clean take 3 minutes Cons: *If you push to much wheatgrass into the juice at one time it will jam
I was looking for a juicer that would be able to handle wheat and barley grass and at the same time be able to juice carrots, beets, celery etc. I would get the Omega 8005 model the chrome looks really much nicer.
