Oreck Zip 100 Handheld Vacuum

Cons: It does not work!!!

Bought the Zip Vac Ultra based on Orecks reputation. This thing is pitiful and shouldn't be allowed on the U.S. market; perhaps it should remain in China, where it is made. After charging for 24 hours I decided to give it a try. The suction was so poor I immediately removed the cover to check for packing material that might be blocking the intake--no blockage, the unit simply sucks on another level.

Pros: Nice little flashlight!
Cons: Everything that you would expect out of a vacum cleaner is missing....this is an Oreck????

My dad gave me this little Oreck 'ZipVac Ultra' as a gift, so I could get the cat and dog hair from our furniture.  I attatched the brush, and within 1-2 minutes of vacumming, the front part of the vacum fell off, exposing the filter.  I continued, with both hands, holding the front part to the rest of the vacum, only to notice it wasn't sucking any hair into the filter, the brush was doing all of the work.  I could have done the same thing with a $2 brush.  the motor lasted only 10 minutes, and it was fully charged.  The flash light was nice and bright until it started losing charge...this vacum is worthless, weak and an overall disappointment.  Please don't waste your money.
