Pros: Very powerful. Can completely buzz off a thick head of hair in seconds. Durable. Cons: Not cheap. Louder and a bit heavier than cheaper clippers.
I had used a Wahl clipper for over two years and still recommend it as a good clipper for the money. When I saw these clippers on the Image Supply website, however, I could not pass them up. These clippers are the real thing. They are the ones you see ...
Pros: Powerful, easy to use, tireless, repairable, lots of accessories available. Cons: Expensive (in the beginning) and a bit heavy after long use.
I love to save money as much as the next guy, but there are times when it makes sense to spend the money. The Oster 76 is definitely one of those cases. So if you need to buzz your head several times a month, these are the clippers to buy. They take ...
Pros: Military skin tight shave, high and tight, quiet poweful motor, long cord Cons: A bit pricey, hard to find In-Stock online sellers
Do "NOT" buy your Oster clippers from www.1-800-sunbeam.com They are an authorized repair and resale company no longer "affiliated" with Oster/Sunbeam. I placed an order for the Oster 76076-010 Powerline Hair Trimmer-Clipper Thursday August 12, 2004. ...
Pros: Great clipper, REALLY EASY TO USE. Cons: Zero!
I picked up the 76! I have three boys 11,9,6 and I have cut there are twice before, with not so good results. Going to the barber is a mission almost impossible. Living in Florida, it gets real hot and humid, so I wanted to cut there hair real short. ...
I recently purchased the Classic 76 model 76076-010 for my family. I have been using the A5 for my dogs for years, and I found out that the A5 blades, which are designated as animal blades, also fit the Classic 76. I thought this would be good to know, in addition to the fact that both the A5 and Classic 76 excellent clippers.

Pros: powerful, built to last Cons: more expensive than others
This is a pro-quality clipper from Oster Professional which uses the standard universal motor body and proprietary blades. I bought this for a friend and he likes it better than any other clipper he has used. It's fast, quiet and is built like a tank. It comes with a close cutting blade and a standard #1 blade, and can be fitted with a good range of guide combs, available separately. At this point I have to say that as with just about everything, you get what you pay for. Other clippers may be less expensive but this is truly a professional product and is built to last.
I got it from 1800sunbeam.com (www.1-800-sunbeam.com/classic76.html) and it arrived in 4 days by UPS, no fuss, no muss.
I have been using a Golden A5 for years now, but since this is considered an animal clipper, my friend was more interested in one that was intended for use on people.
Pros: 1)Very strong motor
2)Actually quiet compared to cheaper versions we have used in the past Cons: 1)A bit pricey but worth it
2)Heavier than most clippers
Been looking for a pair of these at a reasonable price for about 6 months, finally found them, and must say they are the best hair clippers we have ever bought. We have 3 boys with very thick hair and these have no problems going though the hair at all.
Pros: No matter the length of hair to be cut, it went right thru! Cons: the weight began to slow me down, but not the clipper!
The Oster 76 is the best clipper to use to buzz off any length of hair I've found! I recently held a buzz-a-thon for breast cancer. All the ladies I buzzed, were amazed at the swiftness and comfort of the cut.
