Pros: pre-programmed cycles, cruise control, automatic transmission, auto pilot (read the review...), LCD screen Cons: 1yr extreme use wore out blade/seal. they sent new set free. blend-n-go cups rare...
THIS IS THE BEST BLENDER EVER!!!! EEEVVVEERRRRRRR!! i use it almost ever day. so easy, so powerful, you press buttons, it beeps, you walk away, it blends, you do something else besides hover over the blender making sure it works right, you come back, ...
Pros: Informative LCD display, consistent RPM means consistent results. Cons: Little noisy on high speeds, left oil residue on counter when new. (no longer does).
I have owned this blender for about a year and have yet to take full advantage of all of its capabilities. I have used it to make snow out of ice cubes, just used it to make a frozen smoothie type drink. I didn't want to add too much liquid, so I set ...
Most amazing blender!!! by bethanypaul ,Jul 04 '07
Pros: Replacement parts inexpensive
Chops regular size ice cubes with ease. Cons: Seal became stretched out after about 4 1/2 and needed replacing.
We have owned this blender for atleast 5 years and wouldn't ever use anything else. Its the most amazing blender you will ever use!
Ours to needed a new seal so that it doesn't leak, but a new seal is only $2.80 and worth every penny.
We didn't purchase our blender, it was a promotion with Tupperware and got it for having an party, they said it was worth $120 - which I didn't believe until the minute we started using it. Now 5 years later these blenders are still selling for $120 online.
I've never seen this model sold in any store, but I haven't checked everywhere.
I love this blender! Look mom no chunks! by taptaptap ,Jul 27 '05
Pros: Sharp blades, easy clean up, blends ice very smooth! Cons: Loud, bottom of jar hard to get off.
I have used this daily to make blended ice drinks and it works great! The ice is very uniformly blended and no chunks on the smoothy setting It is still so sharp that it blended my salsa last night with ease. It has programed settings so you just turn it on and walk away. It goes backwards and forwards and adjusts the speed on its own. Everyone who has seen this blender in use is very impressed on its capabilities. Another bonus is the height. Is is quite low profile and will sit on the counter or under a cabinet with the jar on. It is a little loud but I think that is true of all blenders. I was concerned about the LED but have not had a problem at all, and the surface is easy to keep clean. The bottom of the jar is hard to get off so I just leave it on. The buttons are flush too so that also helps to ease the clean up. LOVE IT!
An awesome blender for the price! by jlnksanders ,Aug 10 '07
Pros: Automatic LCD operation, ease of use, power. Cons: Small-ish jar (3-4 servings) and nothing else I can think of!
I had been looking for a blender/smoothie machine for some time and received this as a gift and absolutely love it!! I was considering a Vita-Mix after consuming many a smoothie from a neighbor who has a Vita-Mix 4500 (if you have the money to burn and want an incredible blender/food processor, go for the Vita-Mix) but after trying the in2itive, I am no longer considering a Vita-Mix and think the in2itive is certainly comparable to the vita-mix's smoothie capability.
It is a very powerful blender and is capable (at least the manual says it is) of processing food items.
With the built in functions and selectable touchpad, all one needs to do is press a button (or two) and walk away. The blender is more than happy to accomplish it's task without supervision. I love to press the smoothie button, continue preparing other menu items, hear the beeps and see the LCD display "Enjoy" before enjoying a really good smoothie from the in2itive!
Pros: Overall outstanding use and performance Cons: The blending jars leak
This is by far the best blender I have ever purchase, in fact I purchased 2 of them when the first one started to leak, I didnt want to wait for a replacement during the summer. Extremely efficient blending of all ingredients. I hope Oster/Sunbeam has solved the leaking issue and may have retro fitted the seal or redesigned the blending jar. Like I said before this is the best blender ever made! If sold in 2006 nothing compares, its in a league of its own.
