Pros: 16 MB RAM, Improved Hi-Res Color Screen, Thin, Memory Stick Expansion, Jog Dial, Stylish, MP3 Cons: Build Quality Suspect, Small Buttons, Lack of Accessories, Slight Color Mismatching, MP3
I wanted to see if the T665 was that much better than my current T615 handheld... Good old Amazon.com has a nice return policy. Time to try out the T665!
The Short Take!
Overall, I would recommend the Sony T615c over the...
Pros: Easy to read display, excellent features, small size, great accessories! Cons: Cant be used as a cell phone
The Sony CLIE PEG-T665C Handheld comes with every feature busy people need to stay organized. It features a built-in MP3 audio player so never again will you have to carry you PDA and your MP3 player. All your need is the Sony CLIE PEG-T665C Handheld...
Pros: Colour Screen, MP3 audio, Ultra Slim design, Memory stick expansion, and Jog Dial Cons: Buttons, Sony, New lines currently lacking accessories
As I was walking into the store for another purchase curiosity got the best of me. Drifting off course and deaking away from my company I began to make my way to the electronics booth. Only 3 monthes ago I got an M500, which I was thouroughly pleased...
Pros: Price, MP3 player, bright hi-res screen, memory stick expansion, stylish, included applications Cons: 3rd party memory sticks don't work with Sony software, Sony Customer Service
Overall Opinion
This is a great PDA at a great price. You can get it at BestBuy for $349 and purchase a 3-year extended service plan (ESP) for just $59...if anything happens to your PDA, they'll fix or replace it with little to no hassle....
Pros: Highres screen, speed, jog dial, speaker, vibrating alarm, looks Cons: no voice recorder, buttons, stylus
Here today, gone tomorrow.
Sony, the company that introduced the world to the Walkman, Discman, and Minidisc entered the PDA market with a bang. It is mind boggling to see how many models have come and gone in the short period of time...
Pros: Hi res screen, MP3 player, software bundle, can use as portable PC drive Cons: Hard to manipulate control buttons, battery life, poor screen cover
My very first PDA was the Palm 3 organizer. I bought it 4 years ago. It had a very hard to read monochrome display, 2MB of memory, and connected to my PC via a serial port. A virtual dinosaur in this age of rapidly evolving PDA's. But, it is well...
Pros: Does PIM functions well, gorgeous hi-res screen, lots of fun apps! Cons: Somewhat expensive, lacks web browsing capabilities, no wireless networking support
I've owned and used 15 PDAs (this one is my 16th), including the orignal Pilot 5000, both the HP Jornada and iPaq pocket PCs, and even the linux-based Sharp Zaurus, and I have to say that the CLIE PEG-T665c is perhaps the most fucntional and...
Pros: small size, great hi-resolution screen Cons: short battery life
This is my first experience into the PDA realm. My wife finally convinced me that I was in need of one and the Sony CLIE PEG-T665c is what I chose. I did a fare share of research in the palm software operated PDA's. I knew that I wanted a color screen...
Pros: Hi-Res Screen, Aluminum body, 66 mhz processor, MP3 player, lots of software Cons: battery life, flip cover, front buttons are hard to use
INTRODUCTION Well, I purchased the Sony Clie Handheld about 4 weeks ago, and wanted to give it a full test before giving a review. Well, first off, this is and excellent PDA. That's why I rate it 5 stars. It combines the features to organize your day ...
Pros: savagely cool Cons: having to deal SonyStyle
I had suffered the black and green display of my old Palm IIIxe for far too long and yearned for a new PDA. I had considered suffering through the Windows CE on the Compaqs but I liked and still like the stability of the Palm OS. Ihad also purchased a...
Pros: MP3, 320x320 TFT display visible in bright light, Sony Quality, Hold button Cons: No wireless, abandoned Sony stepchild, gotta keep it on a charger, lack of accessories.
This is an incredible value for a Palm OS 4 handheld unit. Though not near as versatile as the latest and greatest OS 5 models now out, I write this review even though the unit is discontinued in 2004 because there are still some great deals to be had ...
Pros: great screen, slick appearance, comfortable in the hand, gives the impression of being solidly built Cons: the Intellisync software that it comes bundled with
I was an early Palm user (anyone out there remember the Pilot?), but my old IIIX was starting to go. I also craved the color screen that my wife was enjoying on her Palm m515 that I gave her for her last birthday.
Pros: Light, Bright, MP3 Cons: Battery Life Relatively Short
Unlike the typical PDA user who wants to take notes and read/send email, I use my PDA for leisure: to listen to MP3 music, to view web pages I have downloaded, to read documents I have converted from Word or Acrobat Reader, and to read ebooks, hundreds of ...
