  • Panasonic AG-DVC 60 OK by me!

Rated a Somewhat Helpful Review by the Epinions community

Pros: Great viewfinder, shoulder mount stability and easy to use. TWO accessory shoes!
    Cons: Needs an aftermarket microphone

Summary: I purchased my DVC 60 largely because I wanted to shoot from the shoulder and enjoy the stability that comes with that. This camera is the only product at this price point that gave me what I wanted. I had read the audio complaints of others and was a ... read more

    Pros: Great Design
    Cons: Worst Audio EVER

Summary: I have an Audio Engineering degree, and that can't fix the defect in this lousy sound card on this camera. Buyer Beware. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA, OR YOU WILL BE STUCK WITH A $2,000 DOORSTOP. And Panasonic won't help. Anyone interested in a class action

    Pros: Great Camera. No problems.
Cons: 1K tone to go with the color bars.

Cons: Automatic focus in low light or even near low light is lousy.

Summary: Absolutely crappy audio. The on board microphone is useless. It apparently has no limiter built in and yields lousy , distorted audio in high volume situations. At low volume filming you need to constantly be watching the volume levels in order to make

    Pros: Shoulder Mount
Cons: Horrendous audio! Not even usable.

Summary: Horrendous audio! When using the built-in stereo mic or the 3mm mic jack for on camera mic the audio is very distorted! I ran into others using this camera on various forums and EVERYONE in having the same problem. Calling Panasonic did no good as they
