Pros: Price, functions, size, warranty Cons: No USB connection, slightly bigger than some units.
The Panasonic KX-FLM600 was definitely the choice for me when I was looking for a multifunction fax machine for my store/office use. I had to have a laser machine (I can't stand Inkjet printers) and I was only willing to spend a certain amount of money....
Pros: If it works right out of box, it will probably provide good features. Cons: Significant unresolved product defects and unacceptable customer support.
My wife and I purchased the KX-FLM600 as a refurbished item from a well known New York distributor on 02/19/2001. It was represented as having the same 1-year second-day exchange warranty via Panasonic's FAX Advantage warranty plan as a new unit. It...
Pros: Compact, attractive, efficient looking device Cons: Poor performance and bad service/repair history; software VERY weak!
A little late, since this item is long disappeared (withdrawn???) from the market. A great concept, but poorly executed. Read the other reviews (except for the schill who seems to think it is the best thing since the invention of 'water').
Pros: Printed output is acceptable Cons: Poor customer support. Replacement parts can take as long as 2 months.
The product's overall performance is marginal but should have performed better due to it's original cost of over $500. I've been having problems such as the paper not feeding well from either the tray or manual feed. Of course these problems only got...
Pros: Everything is very nice about the machine. Cons: Panasonic no longer supports it.
Panasonic no longer has anything for/about this machine on their web-site. They did not and do not plan to write a windows 2000 driver for it. They are no longer marketing it and have simply dropped it. You can't even download spec sheets or manuals for...
Pros: Reliability, Large Capacity Cons: Big & Heavy
I've had KX-FLM600 for 5 years. It is a good laser printer. Totally reliable. Sends & Receives well. One of the reasons it holds up so well is that all your most important parts are replaced with the cartridge. That's why they're expensive. However, I see new cartridges on Ebay now for under $20. Great deal.
