Pros: Excellent quality, and design. Very easy to use. Great clarity and range. Cons: Antenna sticks out.
A month or so ago, I was in the market for a 2.4GHz cordless phone. However, whenever I checked a review for a particular model I'd find as many cheerleader reviews as I did negative ones. It made decision making very hard. Well, defying all ...

Pros: Shock and Splash resistant, good sound, speakerphone Cons: Limited memory capacity, annoying built-in ring-tones
As the owner of a previous generation Panasonic 2.4 GHz phone (KX-TG2550), I have been generally pleased and was ready to upgrade to a more current model. I enjoyed features such as shock- and splash-resistance in the older phone, and saw that the newer ...

Sounds like a walkie talkie
by duraflex ,Jan 24 '05
Pros: NONE Cons: Bad sound. Too small.
We have a 1991 AT&T cordless phone model 5405 that is so much better than this new Panasonic.
The sound quality on the Panasonic KX-TG2216FV is bad. People barely sound like themselves.
Sometimes, there is also a very annoying delay of your own voice on the headphone as you speak to someone over the phone.
I am technically savvy but the ergonomics of the Panasonic are really poor. It's too small and has too many difficult to use features and functions.
I wanted the security and distance of a 2.4Ghz digital but this phone isn't worth the hassle.

Hisssssssssssssssssssss
by tmat2 ,Jun 30 '04
Pros: I liked the speaker phone and battery meter display. Cons: One word....hissssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
After talking with a customer rep from Panasonic, I was assured the hissing noise I could hear was the result of a defective phone and not a common occurrence in this particular model, so I took the phone back and exchanged it for another (same model). Surprise, surprise, surprise there was still a hissing noise. I then returned it and have now purchased a different brand of cordless phone and surprise, surprise, surprise, this phone does NOT hiss. I was very disappointed to have return the panasonic because aside from the hissing, I liked the ease of use and all the features, but the hissing drove me batty so I will now get use to living with a phone with less features, but no hissing.
