Pros: Dual-Tuner-PIP (Split Screen), Picture Quality for Regular (Analog) Tv, Sound Quality without extrenal amp. Cons: Remote Control, Bulky Depth (away from wall), Sleep Timer Function.
This is my 1st Big Screen. For anybody looking to step up to a CRT Based Projection HDTV, this gets my vote! After going from TV's sized @ 20", 27", 32", and now to 47" you can not believe the quilty of the picture. Yeah, I know.........HD rocks! ...
Pros: Sharp/clear picture, good sound & operates easily. Cons: Converter has small round buttons
Having been accustomed to the more popular smaller televisions (28" is what I've always had), I thought I'd go for the gusto and buy a big screen tv. I had my heart set on a plasma tv, and was trying to justify the thousands of dollars I'd be spending ...
Pros: Picture quality, center channel stand built-in, price. Cons: Size, wish I got the 53" model :)
I purchased this from Circuit City a few weeks ago, it's the newest 2004 model. Far cheaper than the Hitachi F/S series. Be aware that there is a PT-WX54 series, which is merely a rebadged 53 (2003) series. You can tell the difference because the 2004 ...
Pros: Easy to figure out remote. Good price for the amount of TV you get. Cons: Unless you run HDTV signals, you won't be satisfied with the result.
I initially bought this unit in anticipation of the HDTV revolution coming and to run my large movie collection on. After a few problems with delivery, the unit arrived in good shape and was easy to unbox and set up. Wheels on the unit make moving ...

Pros: Great picture at a great price. Great sound. Lots of aux inputs. Cons: TV that lasted less than three years after two major repairs.
Great picture at a great price. BUT two service calls in the 1st 2 1/2 years. One was after three months some transistors blew. Then the service rep requested a schematic from Panasonic and when he got it, the circuit in question had been left out of the schematics which meant another two weeks of time. Then 2 years later the red convergence went out. Panasonic offered to refer me to a tech which I would pay for because the factory warranty is only one year. Costco policy has changed and only cover TVs for 90 days now. I called Costco service and am waiting for a funding approval which they claim most likely will not happen for the @ $400 repair cost. I could fix it myself for under $100 but don't know how. The manager says he will have his guys take a look at it and see what they can do. I think that for $1000 a TV should last longer than 3 years.
One of the best values in HDTV world. Compared this model with similar size Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic stands out. The picture quality in HD is very impressive. The best picture/color is attained by using HDMI cable, smoother than the component input. In my opinion, this model is the best bang for the buck!
Horrible TV...Horrible Costumer Service by vismich123 ,Jul 28 '05
Pros: None Cons: Everything
I bought this Tv and within 3 months it broke. Was the picture nice? Yes, but it broke in three months. I called Pannasonic, and they sent a service place, who took a week to come out, to look at the TV.
They took the Tv to fix it for 8 week. Add the week that it took them to come out and that was 9 weeks without my brand new TV. I called customer service, and had NO HELP.
Had the TV for three more months after that. Broke AGAIN. they came again, took the Tv for another 7 weeks.
I called Pannasonic and demanded a new one since I apparently got a lemmon,......NOTHING
