Cool little camera, good for grab bag shots when you normally wouldn't have one with you, but PASS ON IT! When my charger base was stolen (from my luggage by the airlines) Panasonic parts wanted $120 to replace it! Panasonic is close to impossible to deal with. Try talking to machines. I will NEVER buy another Panasonic product again!

Pros: Very small form factor, a nice combo device w. camera, voice recorder, mp3 player.
Cons: False advertising (see review).

Doesn't perform as advertised, the playback volume through the built-in speaker is too soft to hear (confirmed on two units), but worse, it doesn't play (as advertised) MP3s, you must first encrypt/wrap them in DRM before you can install/download them to the SD Card.

I'm returning my unit, and recommending against it. Too bad, because these problems are fixable. The tiny slim form-factor would otherwise make this a great product. Thumbs down.

decent little camera,good quality pics,fine video clarity even a decent zoom option as well as an infra-red tool for night shoots that really wasnt anything to shout about,compact and slim this little cam is surprisingly sturdy and has stood up to more than a few knocks in the one and a half years i have owned it,the memory card that comes with is a little stingy but bigger ones are easily gotten hold of,the enlargements i made were fine,only downside is the panasonic sofware which must be loaded onto yr pc/ltop to view the videos and if like me you misplace your disc and buy another laptop you can transfer your panasonic taken vids but without the disc with the s/ware you will be unable to view them and will have the devils own time getting the software elsewhere.

A very good 4-in-1 device that comes in 3 colors. Has 1x optical zoom, better than nothing. This device is good for everyday use. So far i haven't encounter any problems with it. Cradle is easy to use and not bulky. Additional Remote to navigate the songs and control the volume.

Pros: Very small size and very good picture quality make for a killer combo

I bought this camera about 2 months ago and it is really fantastic. I was waiting to buy a digital camera until I could get one that was small enough for me to carry without knowing it was there, and still take good pictures. This one definitely fit the bill perfectly, and on top of that it has a built-in music player.... which I have yet to use but may come in handy one day. The menu system is VERY intuitive and easy to figure out. The actual image quality is extremely good for a 2.1mp camera this small... and it has plenty of manual adjustments. Video quality is decent, but it does have sound. The video this camera takes is only good for emailing or posting on the web, definitely not suitable to be played on a TV.

Cons: the docking bay is good if you dont travel. sucky-flash, limited ablitly to zoom.

When i was looking for a camera, i evaluated the purpose for my camera was to take pictures when i was out with my friends, or those moments that just require something quick to whip out. I had no intentions to print my pictures as a poster or take videos...heck, i didnt even need the mp3 player. So far, this camera has been good to me...the only major problem is the flash...its just too weak... but hey, for the size of this camera, and how handy it is, i can justify all of its flaws!

i would recommend this camera to the younger audience (im only 18) or unless you travel a lot and just like to take candid pictures everywhere you go. i love how small it is, thats probably the reason i bought it.

ALSO i dropped this on the pavement, literally threw it, and it came out with only a couple scuffs. the aluminum body is pretty cool too
