The picture on this set is really impressive.
HDTV comes through with amazing clarity and color vibrance. I found the color representation to be almost perfect out of the box. After some calibration with some chip charts this really nailed it for me.
There is only one thing that this tv fails at, and I actually think it's a DirecTV HD thing. It has banding issues on very high level blue saturated skies. Very strange but so it goes. It does not bother me enough to really matter however.
Additionally, this is the pro model which is smaller and has too much stuff I don't want : aka speakers and an ATSC tuner. Otherwise they are identical.
I got mine from Visual Apex and it was a fantastic experience.

Hi I found HDtv TO BE a clear sound and lovely color picture I thought it was real neat to watch the game on such a clear picture.

It broke right after we bought it -- the image started getting fuzzy gradually, until eventually you could hardly recognize a face. I wouldn't recommend this product to my worst enemy.
