Pros: Fun, addictive, exuberant, lots of secrets, challenging without being virtually impossible. Cons: Not particularly groundbreaking in the graphics or sound department.
Ever since Final Fantasy II, I have been an avid fan of RPG's. But I, in my relatively old age, I have found myself either perplexed or underwhelmed by the more modern ones. It's almost like they've started to all be the same. You can only ...
Pros: extremely fun, hilarious, lengthy... Nintendo goodness Cons: no voiceovers, just scrolling text; graphics could have been more evolved
Three years ago the chaps at Nintendo published a game called Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64. The timing of the release was a bit off because the N64 was slowly dying. Nonetheless, the original Paper Mario managed to sell well over a million copies ...
Pros: Fun RPG, plenty of side quests. Cons: Too simple, small worlds.
This is one of a small handful of RPGs available for the Nintendo Game Cube. It uses one optical disk and requires a memory card for saves. You play as Mario. Mario is on a quest to save Princess Peach and find stars to open the Thousand Year ...
I got Paper Mario and the thousand years door a few weeks ago when I saw that it was 20 bucks at game stop and decided to buy it. I had rented the original paper Mario once back in the days of the N64 and thought it was an enjoyable game but never bought ...
Pros: -Fun battle system, Engaging, humorous story line, Fresh Graphics. Cons: Lack of Voice overs and a slow start.
Paper Mario? Mario RPG? Back in 1996 when games were still games and many modern day gamers were still teething, breast feeding, or eating Gerbers, Square and Nintendo teamed up to create a little game known as Super Mario: ...
Pros: Long game, lots of things to do Cons: Too easy sometimes, too much talking
As a Mario fan for many years, this is by far one of my favorite GameCube games of all time. Story: Mario gets a letter from Princess Peach, to meet her in Rogueport. She found a treasure map, and wants Mario to help her find the treasure. ...
Pros: Great game, very enjoyable in all categories Cons: No audio dialogue, just scrolling text.
Even though Paper Mario for N64 was released when Nintendo was wearing out, it was an extremely popular game. Their idea to make a version for Nintendo Gamecube was excellent. What happens is that Princess Peach finds a magical treasure map in a town ...
Pros: Timed button presses in combat mean you won't get tired of "press A" fatigue. Cons: Excess of backtracking, a little too similiar to Paper Mario 1 and Mario and Luigi.
Paper Mario is the third Mario RPG from Nintendo, and while it is fun in its own right is very similar to its ancestors. Like in the other games, you embark on a quest to collect seven whatsits that have something to do with rescuing the ...
Pros: good storyline Cons: easy bosses, akward at times
The Mario series has always been particularly great. Runing around in dungeons, battling giant turtles, collecting money, and rescuing princesses is hardly a boring life. But this game was a little dissapointing. The bosses are easily beat on the first ...
Pros:
Interactive battles, good story, very detailed, long playing time Cons: Very linear RPG (it's chapter based, I guess)
I was a bit disappointed with the original Paper Mario for the N64; compared to Mario RPG for the SNES it just wasn't as good. And what is? The original Squaresoft & Nintendo developed game is probably one of the best ever. When I got this game, I ...
I really enjoyed the 1,000 year door. It was tons of fun. The whole game is very quirky and filled with strange little jokes. There are tons of secrets and there is so much to do in the game. It is a great adventure from start to finish. I never found the game to be slow moving and actually got a little addicted to it.
If you want to accomplish everything that the game throws at you then you better set aside a large amount of time to finish. I think I logged in at over 60 hours when I finally completed it all.
Buy this! no Disappointment by holycloud123 ,Nov 22 '04
Pros: Battle improvements Cons: paperish graphics (it is called paper Mario for a reason)
This is a very great game this game has all the wants and needs anyone would want i mean it you have multiple allies that join you each with moves you will need. There are badges to make you stronger and when you level up you can get either more Hp, More Fp, or more Badge points. This is really good and plus the battle has new stuff in it like the audience and stylish moves. I bought this product because i seen the reviews on T.V and thought it would be good and i really like mario games. I love this product because of the many sidequests you can do. The thing I hate is the Pit of 100 trials because i get to level 85 and die all the time but i'm ready for it now. This is a really great game for stradegy and puzzle solving.
