Pros: Sound, Transparency, Good sturdy build Cons: can't be mounted on walls
If you are looking for great speakers for you rear channels or computer, look no further. Actually these speakers are extremely good anywhere, for many these would blow the doors off their main front speakers.
Pros: Great price, great sound Cons: Laminated cabinet not as classy
I admit I am biased towards Paradigm speakers. I first heard them 8 years ago, and I bought a pair of Phantoms at that time. Back then, Phantom's came as a large bookshelf speaker with a 2 way system. The tweeter was the same as now (I believe), but...
Pros: Clarity, Soundstage, Accuracy Cons: Binding posts a little thick
This product was a birthday present from Custom Home hi-fi in Winston Salem for $380.00. I know the location may not help you if you don't live in NC, but with speakers of this quality you cannot buy them at Best Buy. If you want high quality speakers...
Pros: It's a great overall speaker, Paradigm has done it again! Cons: Not worth the money, there are others out there worth seeing
Like their younger brother the Titan, the Phantom's provide very good sound for the price. Before buying however, you should listen to all related speakers very closely. Last weekend I compared Phantoms, Titans, and Klipsch towers. As a Paradigm owner I...
Best money I've ever spent by slmcdonald7 ,Jul 31 '04
Pros: Clear, clean, rich sounding music with exquisite detail Cons: Lacking a little on the low-end bass, but perfectly enjoyable even without a sub
These speakers are amazing. I picked up a pair of the version 3's in late 2001 for $400 and have been in love ever since. For the price, you won't believe the sound you get. Paradigm is known for their exceptional speakers, and their Phantom is no exception to the exceptional rule :) With a silky smooth tweeter that is never too bright, you get two mids that are solidly made (rubber, not foam like the pair of Bose speakers I regrettably purchased two years prior) and produce clear, crisp and full sound that is never fatiguing.
Pair these with a small sub and you've got a system that will sound top of the line for very little money.
