Summary: These TV's do seem to have an issue with dieing. My first one died after 1 week. BJ's returned it hassle free for another one. Fast foward 2 years, almost exactly. It does not turn on. I removed the back cover (you will need a torx screwdriver.)

Pros: LOOKS nice.
Cons: Works anywhere from 4 months to 2 years. Dangerous to fix for novice.
Summary: If ONLY I had done research on this TV before I bought it. I consider myself one of the lucky "victims"...I got a whoppin' 2 years out of this TV. Some people only got 4 months before it went belly up. And they tried calling Philips and got NOWHERE!

Pros: Nice picture quality and attractive styling
