Philips HDD100 (15 GB) MP3 Player

Pros: Analog and Voice inputs are great and it is very attractive.
Cons: Slow processor: Once the battery dies throw it away because it cost $150 to replace!

I bought the HDD 100 a while backa nd fell in love with it. The styling is great and the analog and voice input capability were amazing. The processor speed is very slow and the PC interface is cumbersome at best. The worst thing by far is the fact that the battery is factory installed and can only be replaced by Philips at a cost of $143.73! I emailed and called Philips before they would admit that the product was basically throw away once the battery was dead. Their customer service was unapologetic and not helpful in finding an alternative solution or a break in the cost.

My advise: Avoid this and all Philips HDD products like the plague!
