This phone is horrible! 90% of the time the phone wont recharge when set on the dock. Almost every time you try to pick up the phone when it rings it wont pick up. Stay far far away from this phone. I will never buy another GE because this phone is so worthless. I deserve money for pain and suffering for having dealt with this phone for two years.

The main problem with this phone is that sometimes when it rings, it won't let you answer. No matter how many times you hit the answer button or how long its been charging, it won't answer when its ringing. I haven't had many static problems and the answering machine works well.

Pros: Style, belt clip (you know it's bad when that is listed as a pro)
Cons: Range isn't excellent, static/interference, and hard to hear some calls.

Bought this one based basically on the lure of 2.4ghz and the looks. I thought all 2.4gHz phones were created equal, but this one gets so much static it is incredible. The range is not good, but at first I thought that was due to living in an apartment made of concrete block. After moving to a wooden frame home the reception was just as bad. Also, for some reason it is difficult to hear on some phone calls. I'll have the volume all the way up and still can barely hear the person I'm trying to talk to, but I can hear all background noise magnified in the phone. I don't recommend this phone and will stay away from GE from now on.
Amazingly enough, the range isn't bad. It's just as staticy from 10 feet as 50 feet.
