Pros: Upright space-saving design, included headset Cons: Sound Quality
I expected more from V-Tech, especially considering the price of this model. My husband purchased this phone, attracted by the design and $20.00 rebate offer...it made it's way home to live with us.
Pros: Nice physical design and lots of features Cons: Horrible background noise, and bad headset design
Kick Me, Kick Me, Kick Me!!! Why oh why do I purchase things without first checking the reviews on epinions? You think I would learn. I ran into the exact same problem that other reviewers of this phone had: horrible background noise/static...
Pros: Compact, Light-weight, Above-average range, Headset compatible, unbelievable battery life, and too many features to list Cons: Not very durable
I received my first Vtech phone for Christmas 2000 as a present from my girlfriend. I later found out that she spent about one-hundred dollars on the phone, which made me feel just that much more important. (just kidding)
Pros: Packed with features. Cons: Constant hum makes you forget about those features.
I recently purchased VTECH's ultra-compact VT1421 because I'd been looking for a cordless phone with a headset AND Call Waiting ID both built in, and VTECH's phones generally have a good reputation. The only other phone I was able to find with these...
I've had a long, troubled history with cordless phones. I recently ended a brief relationship with a cheap GE phone, which was so terrible that I would write a review, but apparently the model is not available anymore. So, I'll just state my...
Pros: Styling, included headset, features Cons: Poor sound quality, cumbersome menus
Like most, I was attracted by the appearance of this sleek, little, $100 phone. A cool little handset and a base straight out of a Sci-fi movie. Once I read about the features - particularly the included headset (which would cost about $20 to buy...
Pros: Stylish, small, good physical construction. Cons: Almost never got a signal held steadily.
Background
I bought this phone about 10 months ago to replace an aged analog Sony cordless that was way past its prime. We wanted something small and lightweight. Plus, in our household, looks count! so we wanted stylish, too. The $80 price...
Pros: Great looking phone Cons: Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
After buying this phone, I learned a lesson. Buy something strictly on how it looks and you risk getting a nice looking piece of junk. Whoever designed the VT1421 should get an award. The phone looks awesome, best looking little home cordless I've...
Pros: small size comfortable for a small hand, numerous features, headset included Cons: background static under all circumstances
Ok, I'm hooked on Epinion now and my Vtech is unfortunately hooked on it's base. I checked numerous epinions before I went shopping, but somehow missed this cutie. Having noticed that many Vtech phones rated well I set out on my search. ...
Pros: Lots of features, takes up less space Cons: Over priced, headset stopped working
It’s a cute little package all right, but the Vtech 1421 is a big (and costly) disappointment. I set out in search of a phone that I could use with a headset and would not take up much space. With 3 computers, 2 printers, 2 scanners and a myriad of...
Pros: backlit display, last five number redial, NiMH battery, extremely small Cons: poor reception, very low resolution LCD display
I have to admit, the VTech 1421 is a fairly well designed phone. It fits in a pocket, or clips to your pants easily with the belt clip. It's absolutely the smallest cordless phone I have seen as of yet, and it's base is quite small too.
Pros: Great looks, features Cons: Sound isn't perfect
I bought this phone because it appeared to be exactly what I wanted for another phone. It was $44.50 after a mail-in rebate of $20 at Best Buy (they had a clearance on it for $64.50).
Pros: overall space age look of the phone Cons: location of off button could cause you to disconnect unsuspectingly with the touch of your ear (this is a huge problem I have discovered with the phone, it almost cost me a $3000 scholarship)
I was first drawn to this cordless phone because of its great resemblance, in both size and shape, to a cellular phone. Its range is about 200 feet away from the base and I use it outdoors as if it were a cell phone which can easily fool anyone. My...
Pros: Small, headset, caller ID Cons: Everything else
This phone looks really cool, but it is a waste of money. I was in the market for a cordless phone with a headset, with the emphasis being on the headset. The small GE phones would have done the trick, but this one has a lot more features and looks...
