Pros: The hardware is solid and easy to use.
Cons: The software was terrible for everything except capturing.

For me this was quite a good product for capture. I did however wish the resolution was higher. I do recommend capturing direct from TV because the resolution turns out much better instead of taping to video then capturing it. I thought setup was very easy and I didn't have any trouble with it. The only thing I didn't like was the pinnacle software when you want to transfer it to DVD. It takes about 10 times longer than it should using that software. Using the pinnacle software to capture was the easy part transferring to DVD was the tough part. The only thing the pinnacle software seemed to be good for was the capture, when I tried editing whatever I captured the application would crash. I would recommend saving it as a mpeg and then finding another product to convert it to DVD format or for editing mpegs - this will save you considerable time & effort.
