Pinnacle Studio AV/DV Video Editor Ver 8 for PC (210100299)

Pros: Easy to use interface
Cons: Unusable because of bugs and crashes.

Trust me, I ran a digital editing business and tried to use this for my employees. It crashed constantly and version 9 was no better. The worst part is you would finish editing something for hours and then it would not render because of bugs. Very buggy software, I would not recommend.

Pros: Pretty box....
Cons: Won't stop crashing or just locking up.

This product has a pretty box, but that's about it. I have it "running" on a Dell 2.7 ghz loaded for media work. I have the latest directx, drivers, etc.
This product crashes about every 5 to 10 minutes with no hope to recover your lost work. I searched the web for Pinnacle problems, and found a host of people in the same boat as I am. Support is lousy, because they want you to unload and reload the software after formatting your hard drive each time you crash. That's ridiculous. It still does the same thing.
Stay away from this product or at least do your own research before buying it. Don't believe places like Cnet or Pcmag....search other places that don't accept product advertising money.
