Stay away
by mikejello ,May 20 '05
Pros: cheap Cons: distortion, bass not deep, cheap construction
For the 150 rms that they claim to hold, pretty lousy. They may be cheap, but the sound quality is very poor.

Pros: bass, loudness, crankability Cons: maybe design but thats hood also
that guy above said it right. this sub is insane. i have 4 hooked up to a RF amp in 2 dual bandpasses and i am blown away. my homies are bumpin mb quarts and and rf stage 3's on 2000 watt amps in a sealed and mine still beats their's on bass and loudness. so far i had it hooked up for about a week and 5-0's been on me twice. they said next time ill get a citation and ill have to see a judge if it happens again. oh, my rearview mirror fell off; i don't care what anyone says about these subs get these and you wont regret it. i thinkin about getting 6 off a bigger rf amp. i have a euro lowrider and this is the s**t!

WOW!
by dans74 ,May 26 '05
Pros: Everything - follow Pioneer's specs and you can't go wrong Cons: Its low RMS values may have people fooled as a cheap sub
To those other 2 morons who bought these subs, red is positive, black is negative. Also, anyone who knows anything about RMS and impedance values knows that you can't use a Class D amp on 150 RMS subs! I bought 2 of these subs, FOLLOWED SPECS BY PIONEER and the results were killer! This is no joke - these babies pounded harder than my friends JL's sealed - he was running 1000 RMS. Every kid in your high school will be turning heads (or should I say jerking) to see what you're bumpin.' Roll down your window at a red light, and watch the annoying looks from gramps! Oh yeah, I had the police at my house 2 twice to lower the noise - and I live on 2 acres.

Great sub!!
by vai4me ,Oct 08 '05
Pros: Clean, fairly loud and relatively cheap Cons: Pioneer recommends sealed box only.
I bought 2 of these subs from the local Circuit City and hooked them up I haven't driven them their hardest because I am breaking them in but for the low volume I have them at they sound sweet...I was actually surprised. The sound is very clean for the price that this sub costs. If you are on a budget and are looking for clean yet loud bass then this is your sub...sealed box only.

5 minutes of sound
by djkamikaze ,Sep 25 '04
Pros: Clean Sounding Bass Cons: Overrated
This sub only lasted 5 minutes until I blew both of them. I'm running a Profile Cl1200 and I had the subs mounted in a bandpass box. When it first came on, the bass was clean and accurate. I put on some Three Six Mafia and it was really booming. 4 and a half minutes, smoke came out the box then the subs stop playing. Well I guess you get what you pay for. They probably would work on my brother's pyramid amp. Do yourself a favor and save your money and get a better sub.
