Pros: Solid puzzle game formula Cons: Pokemon hardly show up, poor imitation of Tetris
I think that I speak for everyone when I say that there is nothing quite like a good puzzle game. I'm sure that if I was to ask 100 random strangers on the street and ask them about Tetris memories, no less than 90 of those people are going to reminisce...
This is a really fun game- but really, it's just an update of a classic. Nintendo released a previous game, called "Panel De Pon" or "Tetris Attack" (in english). It was a very popular game, and people loved it- but many admit that while they love it for...
Pros: Solid puzzle game, possibly the best so far for the Gameboy. Lots of replay value! Cons: Pokemon Puzzle League (N64) has many more features. Some complain that there's not enough Pokemon!
If you're reading this, you're probably in at least one of the following groups:
1) You're a Pokemon fan! Not as many of these as there once were, and there's not that much here for you. Pokemon play a very peripheral role in this game; if...
Pros: Fun and addictive Cons: Perhaps not as devoted to Pokemania as the kids may want.
Some of my favorite games include games like Hatris, Wordtris, Tetris, Dr. Mario, Ballistic and the like. If you are a fan of gameboy games, you must realize that the best kind of games to play on it are puzzle games. This one is much like these types of...
Pros: Okay value, good focal range, fast focus Cons: Not the sharpest lens around.
The new 18-135 lens is certainly tempting when bundled with the D80 as a kit, but you will see where the price cuts are. The 18-135 is a DX lens, intended for Nikon DSLRs. It provides a nice range. Handling: Not a badly engineered item at all. The ...
Pros: Same game as Tetris Attack. = Excellent, with many fun modes. Cons: Pokemon theme overdone. I liked it better with Yoshi and the gang.
Ah, good 'ol Tetris attack. In Japan it had a different name. But in America, it was decided that the consumer would be more likely to purchase a puzzle title if it somehow included the name Tetris in it. Unfortunate, because while Tetris attack had some...
Pros: Tons of PokéGoodies! Cons: No Team Rocket or Kanto gym battles and no Meowth!
I only played the ROM version of this. Sure, ROMs these days don't have good quality like the original. Most of the graphics were a bit scrambled up, so I could hardly tell what was what. (I got a better emulator called REW and the graphics are so much...
Pros: BLAAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cons: Boring, too easy, stuff
I don't know how the heck this got 5/5 stars on Nintendo Power, but my mom has hidden the sharp objects to keep me from stabbing that issue to it's impending doom. (Vengeance Shall Be Mine!! Gwa ha ha ha ha ha ha!!) Anyway, the game looks and feels like...
Pros: light weight, great range, fast focus Cons: plasticy feel, changes lengths when zooming, slack in the focus ring
This lens is a great range of focal lengths, however, it is not professional grade. I got it with my D80 and i havent even shot with it yet, but just picking it up, its not a high quality build. The hood is kind of loose and the focus ring has some slack in it. which is fine being that we all use AF most of the time. The one thing that i didnt find anywhere in all of my research was that the lens physically changes lengths when zooming. So if that bothers you then look else where. If i could do it all over again, i would have bought a lens of this focal length seperate. buy the body and get your own lens. but by no means is it a BAD lens, i mean after all, it is a 400 lens from nikon, it'll out do all the sigmas and tamarons in this price range. but again it is not a professional lens. I will be using my niko 80 - 200mm 2.8 as much as i can....
Pros: SMALL!
Supported by Extron IP products
DVI Input Cons: Control port needs a special 15 to 9 pin adapter
I said LITTLE because the CP-X995W replaced a unit that was twice the size and one third the quality! This unit weighs less than 20 lbs and the old projector was at least 50! The picture quality is EXCELLENT, even given the less than 1000:1 contrast ratio, and more than enough brightness. I expect this unit to last many years for us. We use two of these on 200 in. diagonal screens in our church for video and multimedia graphics. If we had better screens, I expect the picture would be even nicer! We plan to upgrade to a high end scaler to use the full 1024x768 of the LCD chip and get away from using the s-video input.
