Pros: Well balanced highs, mids, lows. No distortion due to bass.
Bass impressive for 6 1/2" speakers.
Cons: Lacks LFE punch(expected) Wife doesn't like the height. They are deep in length.

Pros: A really clear sounding speaker with a wide soundstage. Excellent choice for the money.
Cons: The very bottom end of bass won't be reproduced by Monitors alone.

Summary: These are very hi-performing speakers. Along with a polk CSA4 center and Polk FXI3 surround, and two small sony, for the rear rear surround. I have 100 watt sub-woofer as well. Powered up by a Sony E.S.5300 pumping out 125 watts per channel. Deep rich
