Pros: Small, cheap Cons: Minimal controls, No readout on device
Power button on mine didnt work
A cheap, and excellent sounding player, that has too many negatives.

basic and elegant

Pros: Light, simple, relatively cheap. Cons: Maybe too simple. Some more control options (like the ability to scan) would be welcome.
I've always wanted a portable stereo that was truly portable: I don't want to have to buy a special case to carry the player and media around. For that matter, I don't want to have to drag the media around at all. A pocket Flash memory MP3 player was the first, perfect solution. I can carry it around with me anywhere, and it's so compact I could forget I even have it on me until I need it. With 256 Megs of memory, I can load up to 65 songs at a time, enough for a weekend of varied music listening. The controls are simple and relatively intuitive, though I miss being able to scan through a song. The USB port means I don't even have to worry about charging the battery; every time I hook it up to my computer, it charges automatically. Best for the price. If I wanted to spend about 50% more, I would have bought an iRiver player with a display, more control options and on-board mic.
