Take One Of These To The Beach, Ski Resort, & Athletic Meet!

by charles Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 100, Dec 10 '00
Pros: Convenient and easy to use; beats some competitors
Cons: Some of the buttons may be accidentally pushed!
Diamond PMP300 is not like Samsung's Yepp. It allows you to store more than 1-hour worth of great quality music you can listen to while you are away. One more thing is that it's not so pricey as Samsung MP3, Yepp. With under $200, you can afford to...

Depends on what you're looking for...

by MaryMeth , Feb 03 '00
Pros: Lightweight, extremely easy to operate
Cons: Not a lot of memory
We bought the Diamond Rio PMP3 player because we were spending a LOT of money on writable cds. I was converting the MP3s into cd format and then having custom made cds. My husband has picked up the new hobby of old time radio programs and we were finding...

I never want to be without my MP3 player!

by KaylaRaine , Jun 11 '01
Pros: easy to use, can quickly upload new songs, small and easy to carry around
Cons: can only fit about 30 minutes of music on it
I've had this mp3 player for about 6 months and I never want to have to give it up. I take it almost everywhere...on the metro, to the gym, to the grocery store...etc. I even hook it up to some mini speakers I have and listen to it around the house....

Simplest Portable MP3 Solution

by butcom , Mar 03 '00
Pros: So many, I can't list them all!
Cons: Couldn't think of one!
This is by no doubt the simplest portable MP3 solution. Its just a great product! The convenient and simple mp3 files are easily uploaded to the Rio through the printer port. Also, the Rio comes with an adapter so you can connect both your Rio and your...

Good news - and bad

by Girlina , Oct 26 '99
Pros: Good capacity, cute, easy to use
Cons: Bad power system, average sound, pricey
As a certified (and certifiable!) early adopter, I really went through the fire to buy a Rio Special Edition - the aqua blue model shown here, which has 64MB of RAM. This sums up my Rio experience: thanks to truly execrable service from Diamond, the unit...

A HANDY LITTLE GADGET

by artbyjude Epinions Most Popular Authors - Top 500, May 20 '00
Pros: Ease of use, size, convenience, run by a single double A battery
Cons: A flash card purchase is probably essential for better access to downloading music: especially when you have eclectic tastes
I have seen a few reviews of this product, but only recently got my hands on one. I had been waiting for the prices to drop, and maybe could have waited a little longer. But, for the money I have to admit I like the little gadget!

I have to...

Rio Mostly a Novelty to Me

by nkrtwx , May 15 '00
Pros: Lightweight, travels well, makes you seem hip
Cons: Takes a long time to download, sound quality
I received my Rio player as a birthday gift. I really had been wanting one for long flights and for walking. I guess I expected too much from this first generation device. Yes it is small, lightweight and easy to use. It is also not the best for...

An appetizer, not a main course...

by rmantha , Oct 19 '00
Pros: lightweight, doesn't skip, CD-quality,
Cons: badly designed earpiece, too little memory
I am a runner. As all runners (especially those who gave up)know, running can be quite boring, even though the afterglow of a good run is amazing. I have tried everything to alleviate the boredom - from radio players to tapes to CDs, and all came up...

Kinda Expensive

by wackerz , Feb 24 '00
Pros: Small
Cons: Expensive
I mean this is probably the best mp3 player you can get, the most advanced, the most memory, the nicest looking :) but also the most expensive. Its about 260 dollars at Best Buy or something. I don't own one but one of my friends so and he left me check...

Don't You Just Love Technology?

by MellieRae , Nov 29 '00
Pros: Small, lightweight, No skipping while exercising
Cons: Drains batteries quickly, not enough memory
I had wanted to purchase a MP3 player for quite a while before I finally made the plunge. I found one hidden on a back shelf at a local electronics store marked "open box". All the parts were included and the item was in new condition--but I...

by Lethal , Jan 05 '00
Pros: light, compact, stealth, long battery life
Cons: expensive, is not skip proof, expensive, not much room for lots ofmusic

an oldie but a goodie

by mvirata , Mar 06 '01
Pros: Accepts a variety of bitrates. Good sound.
Cons: Limited expandability. Proprietary memory format. Limited display
When the PMP300 first came out, it was the first portable mp3 player mass marketed to the masses. The RIAA sued, lost and now digital mp3 players have flooded the market. Although dated in memory size and display capabilities, this player still does...

Don't be the last to have one

by jeighty3 , Jan 29 '00
Pros: Portable mp3's, portable hard drive
Cons: a little small (i almost lost mine once)
Okay, after winning my Diamond Rio from one of those websites where you play games, it has been in use nonstop. I never go anywhere without my Rio. Think about it how many mp3's do you have on your computer? If you are anything like me I would say...
